3-Bedroom, 3-Bath Townhome overlooking the 10th fairway of the Championship South Course at the Mauna Lani Resort.

Our condo is located in one of the two most desirable buildings in Golf Villas. It is an end unit overlooking the 10th fairway of the famous South Course. Look directly across the fairway and view the multimillion dollar homes of Black Sand Beach.

The sunrise over Mauna Kea is your view to the east, and to the west, more fairway stretching to the ocean. Our home opens to an extra spacious lawn overlooking the black lava and expansive green golf course views. Abundant light and views from every well appointed room in the home; beautifully furnished by C.S. Wo of Honolulu.

Our home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms which we limit to 6 guests. The upstairs den has a desk where you can enjoy a beautiful view while checking your e-mails with free secured Broadband wireless connection.

The open kitchen is fully equipped with top of the line stainless steel appliances including a wine cooler and a wrap around bar with stools. The dining room accommodates 6 people and it opens to the downstairs lanai which has a Teak wood table and seating for 6.

We love the summer kitchen with a Thermador stainless steel BBQ where you can prepare fish bought from the local fishermen or steaks from Parker Ranch. If you wish to just sit and relax outside there are 2 comfortable patio chairs and table.

Our comfortable living room includes a 42' flat TV. Hair dryers are in each bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs, DVD players, cable/digital TV with music channels.

There are 2 championship courses each with spectacular views. There is an owner's private beach where you can snorkel and see a wide variety of spectacular fish. You will have access to both.

We have the most efficient Concierge who will meet you and acquaint you with the area and facilities.

A Foodland Farms market at the Mauna Lani Marketplace provides everything without having to drive several miles to find the next market.

My husband and I moved to Hawaii 41 years ago as newlyweds. Our children were born and raised in the islands. We are a golfing family and enjoyed our 'ready-made' foursome. We now are blessed with the addition of a son-in-law and daughter-in-law to our family and look forward to spending time with them at our new home at Mauna Lani.

We recently purchased this beautiful townhome at Golf Villas (previously VRBO listing #244573) in the Mauna Lani Resort. We owned a couple of units at Mauna Lani when our children we young and we had wonderful memories of family vacations there. We decided to 'go home' to Mauna Lani again. We are thrilled as this unit is meticulously maintained and beautifully furnished.

Excellent and Responsive!

We recently returned from our stay on the Big Island. This unit was very well equipped and clean. The owner is extremely responsive to your inquiries and needs. When I inquired about beach umbrellas (we are Pacific Northwesterners with limited sun exposure) she ordered two! We were also travelling with two kiddos (age 7, 11) and mother in law. The unit was large enough for us all to have a bit of space. We will be back!

Fantastic Townhouse and Owner!

We have just booked our 8th year at Mauna Lani and Jo Ann’s unit at the Golf Villas. This is a fantastic 3 bedroom condo right on the 10th hole that is well furnished and maintained. Jo Ann is great to deal with and if there are any issues at all she is immediately on top of it making it right. This unit is always in great shape, well cared for and supplied.

Mauna Lani is a fantastic location with a private residents beach and a wonderful beach side restaurant. In addition is the Mauna Lani Bay hotel and the fantastic Canoe House ocean side restaurant for sunset dinners. 2 world class golf courses are at your doorstep as well with reduced rates for guests of the resort.

A great way to start your day is a hike along the Fisherman’s trail to the Black Sand beach. Stroll by beautiful ocean front homes on this amazing walk on the cliffs above the water. Wear sturdy shoes as it is all on a lava path.

Within the resort grounds is a handy shopping complex with many restaurants, shops and a Foodland with a new expanded wine shop. You really don’t need to travel any farther to shop.

With that said the Waikoloa Beach Resort with it’s many shops, restaurants, hotels and 2 more great golf courses, is within easy walking distance of the Golf Villas. Don’t miss the beach side Lava Lava Club for happy hour and an amazing sunset while your feet wriggle in the sand.

The Big Island has so much to offer and making the Golf Villas your home couldn’t be better.

Beautiful and relaxing

We had a great stay at Golf Villas. The condo was very comfortable - the furniture was nicer than what you typically see in a rental, the linens were good quality and in good shape, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped and everything worked. The wifi was reliable and fast. There were a couple of issues that came up while we were there and they were attended to by the property manager. Both Dani and Jo Ann were a pleasure to work with.

Our favorite thing was to start the morning with breakfast on the downstairs lanai, looking out at the golf course and watching all of the birds, followed by going down to the private beach. We highly recommend this condo.

Wonderful Slice of Paradise

We return to this townhome year after year. It is spacious, comfortable, well-decorated, well-appointed, and continuously updated. The kitchen has everything to make gourmet meals, and having a full-size washer and dryer is fantastic. Another plus, is the fact that there are three full-sized bathrooms. The owner and the property manager are both very responsive. We have never encountered a problem with the home because the owner clearly stays on top of things.

We love to get outdoors, and one of our favorite things to do is to hike the Ala Kahakai Trail between Hapuna and Mauna Kea, which includes archaeological sites and a breathtaking coastline where you can often see honu and humpbacks. The hike only takes 15 to 20 minutes. We then spend the day bodysurfing and snorkeling at Mauna Kea Beach. The Ala Kahakai Trail is 175 miles long, and is definitely worth exploring.

Private retreat, beautiful property, the best owner to work with

Booked our dream vacation for 3 weeks w/my 3 teens and husband after speaking with Jo Ann. At first the beauty of the property, the reasonable pricing, and great location attracted us. But after posting a question and getting a call from Jo Ann that same night, I knew this was the right place for us. Equipped with enough space to spread out, we all felt right at home. The condo was spotless when we arrived, well stocked with things like beach towels, bath towels, and toiletries. We all found our rooms and beds very comfortable. Being able to walk out onto our private lanai off our bedroom every morning was priceless. The gated golf community was quiet and clean, and filled with flowering trees and shrubs, gorgeous palm trees and a stunning golf course. A beautiful community pool is practically across the street (which we often had to ourselves), and the gorgeous private beach and lovely beach front restaurant were a minute's drive away, as was the shopping center were we could run up for groceries and coffee each day. On the last week there we did experience a leak in the upstairs shower that went into the kitchen. The property manager (who we found to be never very enthusiastic or responsive during our stay) said she couldn't get a plumber in until after we left which seemed unreasonable over an 8 day period. Immediately, Jo Ann (the property owner) jumped in and got a plumber in right away to evaluate the situation, gave us a generous refund on part of our stay, and was sincerely apologetic making the momentary inconvenience of not using that shower for the last week painless. Everyone loved our stay which says a lot with 3 teens! We'd gladly come here again and recommend it highly!

Wonderful condo/ great service/ lovely location

We had a great stay. The condo was fully stocked with all types of condiments, kitchen ware etc . We travelled with children and found the laundry closet stocked with stain remover and detergent which was helpful. The condo was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. My in-laws who are in their late 60's / early 70's found the bed downstairs very comfortable and the room temperature great. Having everything on the main floor was great for my in-laws who have had knee surgery and didn't have to use the stairs. We also found the master bed comfortable. We dined over at the Fairmont at sunset which was beautiful. Highly recommend their beach café for sunset dining/ drinks. Very relaxing. Danielle, the caretaker, even provided us with a crockpot and a couple of boogie boards for the kids. We found it very handy to have access to the crockpot so dinner could be ready when we arrived back at the condo. Our only request for improvement might be to supply some extra beach goodies (a few chairs or beach mats/ beach umbrella/ boogie boards/ pool toys) which would have been fun to have. Other than that the condo was a hit with everyone!
