Super condo in a convenient location

  • 5 of 5

Three of us stayed here for 5 days. What a nice condo! Very enjoyable, and the bed is so comfy! We could walk to breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and the market. We even walked to downtown and the Pearl District from here, but we're walkers. Easy to park. Easy to get on the highways to go out of town.

We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

LOVED this place!

  • 5 of 5

This was my first VRBO booking and it was an excellent experience. Becky's response time is super fast - I was very happy with the communication between us. She was very attentive and helpful during our stay. The king size bed and sofa bed are both comfortable and the space is very clean. The condo is also in a great spot as it's close to good restaurants and cafe's nearby (I loved the Dragonfly Coffee House which is about a 5 minute walk away). Highly recommend this place and hope to come back again soon.

Excellent location

  • 4 of 5

The condo is safe and well located near shops and restaurants. We drove up from California, and ended up parking our car for the duration of the stay. Everything we needed was accessible by foot, bus (at the end of the street), or streetcar (a few blocks away). On clear days, it was a long-ish but easy walk to Powell's or the Pearl District. The kitchen was well appointed, and there were plenty of towels. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit so I could pack less. In the summer, it would be nice to use the patio outside.

The only reason not to give it five stars is the complete lack of soundproofing between upstairs and this condo. As another reviewer mentioned, bring ear plugs. I'm not exaggerating when I say that you can hear every cough, sneeze, and... well, anything else that might be going on upstairs in startlingly clear detail. When the upstairs toilet flushes, it sounds like a tsunami rushing through the walls. But if you're not bothered by noise, this is an ideal location.

Owner's Response: Update to my review response! We have finished installing extra foam and insulation plus Quietrock Sheetrock around the drain pipes in the wall. This makes the system quiet! We are also going to be doing some soundproofing to some interior walls and ceiling end of Feb. 2017 which should help the unit to be much quieter! Thank you Alisa for your review. I apologize for your inconvenience of the noise. The long term upstairs tenant had also complained about the unusually loud guests we had in the unit during your stay. I had communicated with the guest and had hoped they were quieter. Know the wood floors carry noise which is why have so many area rugs to help with this. My only other choice would be to install wall to wall carpet but many of the guest like the cleanness the wood floors offer so this has been a dilemma. In regards to the toilet going to talk with my contractor to see if there is anything we can do to "soften" the noise. Glad you enjoyed your stay regardless and you were wonderful guest! Becky

Comfortable, well stocked and great location

  • 5 of 5

We spent Thanksgiving at Becky's place and loved it. Just my husband and I stayed at her place but our family gathered each night at her place to eat and play games. Her kitchen is well stocked with everything one needs to cook a meal and serve it. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom had complimentary lotion, shampoo an soap. Becky had the outdoor patio decorated with lights and garland adding to the festive atmosphere. Her place is close to all the hip restaurants and bars of 23rd street and all the side streets.
