Lovely apartment in the Nob Hill area of Portland

  • 5 of 5

We loved the apartment in Nob Hill...such a convenient location for shopping on 23rd Ave, grabbing a cup of coffee or getting a bite to eat. There is a whole variety of restaurants in the area, from an inexpensive lunch to a pricier dinner. It's easily accessible via streetcar from downtown.

The apartment is modern, clean and bright. The king size bed is very comfortable as is the king size pull out sofa. That was a very pleasant surprise! We appreciated having a front-end loading washing machine and dryer to use. The kitchen is very nice with all of the essentials if you want to cook at home. I would highly recommend this property as the owner is very easy to communicate with and the property is well maintained. Two thumbs up from us!

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Our stay here was eight days and we really wanted "our place" to feel like home. And, this was indeed much like our little home in Portland. The location is excellent, within walking distance to a local organic co-op type grocery store, and also within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bank and streetcar stop. The condo itself was pleasantly decorated. The king size bed was very comfortable and we rested well each night. The owner was very proactive in answering questions and meeting our needs both prior to booking and during our stay. We would happily stay here again. Thank you, Becky!

Location. Location. Location.

  • 5 of 5

The unit was great and had everything we expected. Becky was also helpful and communicative during our stay. You really couldn't ask for a better location than this unit for a jumping off point to everywhere in Portland. Despite it being in the high 90s we were even able to walk downtown from the unit, but you wouldn't even need to do that with so many great spots just a few blocks away.

Not quite what we were expecting

  • 3 of 5

Great location on a quiet street. We loved the neighborhood feel/local shops and convenience to downtown. Parking was great. However, it seemed like a lot of money for what it was. The deck was charming, except, the table was so dirty it was unusable. I tried to wipe it off and it clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time. Under end tables or areas of less use, the floors had not been swept. Many of the kitchen cabinets had oily marks around the handles. The bathroom sink did not drain properly from the start. The king bed was comfortable, but in order to get into bed, you had to climb in from the foot of the bed. There was literally about six inches on either side of the bed. The apartment is not very well insulated for noise, as we could hear the people above us snoring/talking at night. The bedroom is near the outside staircase and it was quite loud when anyone walked up and down the stairs when you were sleeping.
