This was a wonderful get away! The location and property were convenient to all things...the beach, stores, easy access to highways, etc., but yet quietly private. Which made this VRBO very nice.

Nice Area, But the Unit Needs Attention

The condo's location was great — close to the beach, a lovely pool area, and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. Unfortunately, the unit itself fell short of expectations.Upon arrival, we had to clean the refrigerator, sweep and mop the floors, and remove the trash left behind by the previous guests. Several light bulbs were out, the kitchenware didn’t feel clean enough to use, and the living room couch was sunken in and uncomfortable.The living room TV was not functioning during our stay. Although we reached out to the host right away, we didn’t hear back for three days. While a new TV was eventually delivered, it wasn’t installed before our departure. We were later told a refund would be issued for the inconvenience.The overall condition of the unit made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. This condo has potential, but it needs better maintenance.

Great value for small family!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property! As advertised, no surprises. Two bedrooms and two separate full bathrooms - this is huge! Most properties this small only have one bathroom. Both bathrooms very sufficient. Good water pressure, lots of towels. Master bedroom, sufficiently sized and the bed is VERY comfortable. Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds. We did not use the amenities on property because we spent most of our time at the beach & exploring the Island. Speaking of which, you can walk to the beach in about five minutes - Folly Field Beach park, public access, bathrooms showers, etc. The kitchen appliances we used worked well, including the water & ice on the fridge. We did not do much cooking but a lot of the cookware did appear to be old and maybe in need of replacement. The Keurig was very helpful! Plenty of dishes, cups, coffee mugs, glasses, kitchen utensils. Unit is located on 3rd floor and requires five flights of steps (2, 11, 3, 11, 3), easy to manage if you do not have accessibility needs. Lots of beach toys and very comfortable beach chairs stored on the balcony, including a beach wagon. Parking is directly in front of the unit in a very shady area, so your car does not get hot during the day in the sun. It's a gated property, so it's nice to have the additional security. The property manager Meagan was very responsive to texts. My only feedback to the owners would be to visit the unit to declutter drawers & cabinets & maybe update decor. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved the location. Many locations say you can walk to the beach, and this one you truly can walk. The pools were good, especially for cooling off on a summer day. The issues were the place was not very clean, and there was a chaotic mix of pots/pans. Definitely no large pot for noodles. I couldn't get the living room TV on (nor could the teens in my group). I called and texted and emailed both the primary and secondary contacts. Primary told me she would call me back. Didn't happen over all five nights. It became a joke in our group if I had gotten a call yet. We watched my laptop. There's not much space for prep if you need for cooking. No measuring cups. They did have some basic spices which was nice.

Spring Break Getaway

We love staying at Fiddler’s Cove! Although, this was our first time in this particular condo. It was perfectly located in relation to the pool and beach. The walk/bike to the beach is short and very enjoyable. We really enjoyed the heated pool. This condo is located on the third floor, keep in mind there is no elevator, you must use the stairs. Very roomy for the three of us, as there are three beds. Nice kitchen to make our meals and we liked having a washer and drier in the condo. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again!

Great little place!

We were in Hilton Head for the week and this condo fit our needs well. It was equipped with pretty much everything we needed, was clean on our arrival, things were in good working order, minus a light in the coffee nook. But we had a great stay.

Great location

Easy walk to the beach and the provided wagon and chairs and beach toys was wonderful. The unit fit my family well and was clean and it was handy to dry our towels and clothes in the dryer. It is an older and a little worn down looking of a unit but we didn’t mind. Would’ve been nice to use the two pools on the property but they closed Nov 1

Nice, but needed a couple things

The condo was pretty clean. Great location. Very short walk to the ocean beach. I felt safe in the gated community and it was close to pretty much everything. Parking was good. It had a small washer and dryer, but we had to clean it out cuz the person before us put powered soap where the fabric softener goes. We did a lot of cooking since we didn't want to eat out all the time. The oven door didn't open all the way cuz the cupboard was in the way. That was not fun. Watch out before using the oven because there were extra pans in there. We even found a dirty pan amongst the ones in the oven. Reminder, it does state that this is on third floor so it was hard to get big, heavy luggage up the stairs. Would I stay there again? Yes, I also couldn't check in cuz I didn't have the condo code and I called the number and someone was able to help me right away and even on a Sunday. Even with it being a gated community, Uber was able to come right to our condo with no troubles. The little private deck off the condo was nice, but needed a good scrubbing and sweeping. We could have used some more toilet paper because it was three girls staying there for four nights. We had to go buy more. Otherwise, it really was an ok place to stay and the rates were awesome for three people sharing it. oven. much everything.

Could’ve had fun

It was easy to get to the beach, would have love to swim in the pool but it was so yucky. We tried to call / text property manager but took days for her todays to respond to the issue so for 2.5 we had to be hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working properly.

Plenty of room for a family of four with two young children. Easy walk to the beach! We enjoyed taking the private beach entrance (around condo building 22 or 23) and that area of the beach was so much less crowded than the public entrances. Our children loved the larger pool- plenty of room to play and swim! We also loved that this is a gated community. Close proximity to some of our favorite restaurants- Hudson’s and Skull Creek Boathouse! Our only complaint is that the condo didn’t seem to cool well, especially in the late afternoons and during the night. The AC worked, but it seemed to take multiple attempts for the unit to run. We contacted someone, but it was never looked at to my knowledge. You could hear the unit trying to come on both inside and outside of the building. We had one other small issue that was addressed a couple of days later. Would stay in Fiddler’s Cove again!

A convenient and cozy getaway

A large and well-maintained condo property. Lots of nice options and an easy walk to the beach. I definitely recommend for budget-conscious families. Also, really appreciated that they had a ton of beach chairs, and gear already there.

When we arrived and unpacked m, realized that the a/c wasn’t working. I reached out to guest contact Megan and addressed the problem with her. 30 mins later she called back and said the technician would be there that evening and we were the 3rd stop on there route. We went for a walk on the beach and when we returned the technician was leaving and told us to enjoy the nice a/c. The walk to the beach from unit 15 was about 5 mins and nice. Overall it was a great trip

Fantastic location

You just can't beat a condo so close to the beach. An easy walk or drive to everything from a gated community made our stay everything we wanted it to be.

At 75 lugging big suitcases up 3 floors was a handful. And when trying to tune in TV was a nightmare. Confronted with 5 remotes and rain outside, i would take my chances with lightning. Ok for 35 and under or family with kids

Cozy and just what we were looking for!

The condo was perfect . It was super cozy. The little things mean the most to me and this checked all the boxes. All of the beds were VERY comfortable. I sleep with a box fan and there was one provided in the closet!! There is parking directly outside , easy access to beach , and pools. It was very quiet and no bothersome noises or late night issues. The garbage collection is easy accessible as well. Kitchen had everything needed. There was plenty of tv , movies , books and games that were provided as well. The beach chairs provided was def a major plus as well. This was perfect for what we were looking for!!!

Overall this was a nice condo in a nice area, but it needs a bit of work before they continue to rent it out. There was a water leak in the master bedroom running down the wall and one of the toilet flushers wasn’t functioning properly. The dryer was also not functioning properly which was really disappointing because I specifically booked this property because it had a washer and a dryer.
