The cutest ever in a most unassuming neighborhood!!! I love the strawbale concept, and sustainabiluty. Sue and sil are amazing humans, and fantastic hosts. The proximty to the downtown is a great feature, and at their insistance, traveled in. Waymo! Most fun. I am already making plans to visit again!

Quirky and Cute

We had a lovely time with our first stay in a strawbale home- everything true to the posting. Easy checkin and easy check out. Excellent location for access to downtown and dining. The only downside is very obvious and constant air noise from the airport close by. Once I used air plugs, I was able to sleep past 6:30.

Cute place

This is such an adorable place. Hosts were so generous and available. They even had a bottle of wine when I arrived. It was a house made of straw! Very comfortable bed. Location was close to what I needed.

A fantastic (and unique) place to stay!

Property was clean and comfortable. The hosts (who live next door) were friendly and never intrusive. Plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Amazing

Well first of all I’ve stayed at a ton of places before and this place was hands down the best. The host greeted me and showed me around and thenolace is so clean and very nice accommodations. Lots of snacks provided along with a bottle of wine. The hot tub was ready to use. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. You just can’t beat the hospitality and friendliness of Susan and her husband. If I ever come back to phoenix, I’ll be staying here every time!

amazing welcoming stay in downtown Arizona

We were there for a quick trip to see the baseball game. We walked from the house. It was super great were amazing and super helpful. Answered any questions we had would definitely stay there again!!! Home had a wonderful touch, and it felt like you were in your own home. It was very amazing. also, the Wi-Fi perfect for two adults working from home

Charming, convenient, comfortable

The casita was a great choice. We came to Phoenix for a baseball game. Chase Field--and all of downtown--were in walking distance. The house is in a neighborhood, so you get both a residential and city experience in one stay. The hosts are in the process of building another straw bale house on the property, and were gracious in giving us a tour and tutorial. It's a very interesting construction method which regulates the temperature and sound in the house. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly, available and helpful, but not intrusive. The casita is a separate building, so it's very private. It felt authentically Arizona. I would definitely stay here again.
