It was not to the standers of what We expected in a Vrbo vacation rental. We will not rent his houses again in Reno, NV.
It is a big house with everything for a family to stay, especially the kitchenware. It is easily accessible from I80 and 10 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. We were here for the JamOnIt basketball tournament, and it was a quick drive to the convention center. We absolutely loved our stay here, thanks to the host and VRBO!
Cynthia, our host was amazing! We had a small issue with the home and she called right away to address it. It was like talking to a friend. She was extremely pleasant, friendly and sweet! Then! Once we were back home, I ordered some Amazon stuff and forgot to change the address from the Reno stay so items got delivered! LoL! She was till very helpful, even though we weren't her guests anymore. Beautiful, spacious, cozy home! Thank you Cynthia!!! 10/10 recommend. Oh! And it's a very central home! Only about 15 min away from airport and a lot of stores close by.
Overall, we had an okay stay. The host was very communicative and responsive, and the home was clean and tidy when we arrived. One thing that is very important to our family is cleanliness because we do not wear shoes inside the house. We were able to walk around without our feet getting dirty or black, which was definitely a plus! The home had basic cooking utensils, pots, and pans, which was convenient, and the beds were comfortable. There were a few downsides. We noticed a few ants here and there, as well as quite a few dead bugs around some of the windows. Another guest mentioned broken things and I hoped it wasn't as bad as they said. There were several things around the home that were broken. One thing that concerned us was an outlet in the master bedroom. When we tried to use it, it sparked, which scared us so we didn't use it after that. We also had trouble with many of the electrical outlets because they were loose. When we plugged in our phone chargers, they would not stay securely in the outlets and would easily fall out.Overall, we appreciated how clean the home was and how communicative the host was, but we do think some maintenance and repairs are needed to make the stay more comfortable and safe for future guests.
The Cozy-Chic was just as advertised. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood close to shopping. The furnishings were nice and comfortable, versus cute and not practical. Our host, Cynthia, was wonderful. She was responsive up to and throughout our stay. I had an issue (could not find the iron and ironing board) and I text her. She didn't text me back, she CALLED me. She ordered a new one and had it delivered. She was amazing. We found the iron amd ironing board on the day we were leaving, so like I said, Cozy Chic is as advertised......and now with 2 irons. I will definitely stay here again. Cynthia is the best.
