The cabin was very spacious and cozy. The large driveway and turn around worked well for a sled trailer. Very nice and quiet wooded lot.

Cozy rustic cabin

The location is a perfect distance tucked back in the woods, but also just 15 min away from town. The cabin was cozy and just right for 2 adults. The ceiling in the loft is a bit low and the staircase is pretty narrow, so smaller people would be more comfortable. The wood burning stove to heat the house was a bit of a challenge to get going, but once we did, it made the cabin nice and toasty! We found that when the wood burning stove got going, we literally had hundreds of flies in the loft (trying to get into the warmth). Other than those small issues, the cabin treated us well and was a perfect get away from the hustle & bustle of every day life!

I was just staying at the residence while taking care of some business up north. So I didn’t take full advantage of the plentiful amenities. I was looking for something small and this was a lovely warm cozy cottage. However, it had plenty of space for a whole family or a group of friends. Everything was clean. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. It’s definitely a place I would consider going to with a group of friends.
