It was my first time to Indian Pass. Very peaceful & laid back. The home was well equipped. Lots of games for a rainy day.

Hidden Jewel

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week at this property from 7/8/17 to 7/15/17. The home is quaint and very thoughtfully decorated! The beach is very private and lovely! We had 7 people in our party (4 adults, 3 kids). The size of the home served our needs perfectly. The homeowner was very responsive when the internet went down - they had been having trouble anyway which was the providers fault. The owner was very apologetic which we appreciated. A bonus for me personally with this home were the hardwood floors (I hate tile floors - they're cold and you can't get the sand fully swept up). The floors always felt clean and sand-free which was nice. Also, you can't stay at this spot without a visit to the Indian Pass Raw Bar (barely 3 miles from this property)! There will definitely be a wait but the food is amazing! We would absolutely stay here again! It truly felt like a home away from home!

Nice Spot For Us To Take The Grandchildren

  • 4 of 5

We loved the private beach access. View was great. Spacious beach side deck. Kids could boogy board in the surf if we trekked a little west on the beach or net crabs by walking a little east on the beach. Camp store was easy walking distance. We built camp fires on the beach nightly. We had plenty of room for four adults and three kids.

The house needs some maintenance: rotten picnic table leg, half the elevator doors would not open, one garage door didn't work, kitchen sink drained very slowly, no propane for the outdoor grill. I thought the owner was a bit slow to refund the damage deposit.

Beautiful location, lovely well appointed home and kitchen, quiet beach

  • 5 of 5

Just what we were hoping for and found. Beaches in the area and parks are amazing. Fishing was good. Oyster City Brewery makes pretty darn good beer. People were very nice and many were there to escape winter like us. Home was great with open floor plan and very well appointed kitchen. Owners made the stay easy and trouble free. We hope to return and stay longer.

Forgotten Coast Spring 2017

  • 4 of 5

We had a very nice stay. Patricia was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to a minor technology issue. If you want a more commercial and high rise experience, then this place is not for you. The home is beautifully laid out and would be great for two families. We had 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need if you plan to cook in.

The location and surrounding communities are fantastic! Apalachicola and Port St. Joe both are quaint fun little towns. Indian Pass is a quiet community that has no high rises. We enjoyed the Trading Post and it seemed like it was busy all the time! St. Vincent Island was fun to explore. We also explored the two nearby state parks on St. George Island and Cape San Blas. Those beaches were amazing!

The weather didn't totally cooperate for us but we made the most of it with nightly fires on the beach. The stargazing was incredible with little to no light pollution!

All in all we had a wonderful time!
