You're going to love staying in this Colorado home, especially when you savor the stunning views of the mountains and pines surrounding the property. Inside, you'll find pine ceilings in the living room, along with comfortable furniture and rustic decor. Let the kids swing their feet from the breakfast bar stools while you assemble tonight's delicious family meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. The dining table seats up to four and is great for dinner parties and family game nights.

Kick back and watch a favorite DVD movie on the large flatscreen TV then take a leisurely stroll among the pines. The gas grill will make short work of those skewered vegetables while you savor some locally brewed beers from Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co.

Get a little early morning workout on the lush green fairways of Estes Park 18-Hole Golf Course, just two-and-a-half miles north. Brook, rainbow, and brown trout await at Lake Estes, only three miles north. Want to try some delicious food? Check out places like Big Horn Restaurant, Dunraven Inn, Hunters Chop House, and The Rock Inn Mountain Tavern.

This house was perfect for our family of 5! Communication with the owner was timely. The location was perfect for going into Estes Park for some shopping, to enjoy coffee at Kind coffee, farmers market and exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed watching the deer who visited several days and star gazing at night. We have already talked about when we can go back again and we will most definitely stay in the Sunshine house again! Thank you!

Comfortable home away from home

This home away from home was the perfect place for our family to relax and spend time together after a fun day of hiking. It had everything that we needed and the location was so close to Rocky Mountain National Park and also downtown Estes Park.

Very private and quiet location, perfect for stargazing. Close to RMNP and downtown Estes Park. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we were happy to have a grill available, which we used twice. Wifi was a bit spotty, but given the remote location, this was expected, and it worked ok overall.

Cozy cabin in a beautiful location with surrounding views! Everything in the home was great! Would be nice to have some basic cooking items like olive oil and spices and also a bummer you can’t use the beautiful fireplace but overall we loved our stay!

Very nice home!

The property was clean and looked as-advertised! My husband and I went with friends, and the set up of the home was very nice for two families. The upstairs had the master suite, and the downstairs area had two bedrooms and a bathroom. We were very comfortable and had a great time close to Estes Park!

Family vacation

The washer was broke but we were compensated for the the inconvenience. Door lock was broken but fixed print. Need to stock Kleenex for guests. House was very nice and we loved our stay.

The house was absolutely beautiful and exactly the vibe we were looking for. We loved spending our evenings on the deck stargazing and enjoying our morning coffee while taking in the mountain views. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the amenities had everything we needed for a great stay.The only hiccup we encountered was that the door code we were given didn’t work. It was also quite long, making it difficult to remember. Thankfully, the backup key was available, so it wasn’t a major issue.One suggestion would be to update the outdoor furniture. The wooden furniture gave a couple of us splinters, and one of the armrests appears to be cracking.Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. The location is fantastic—close to the national park and all the shops, restaurants, and activities in downtown Estes Park.

Fantastic property with quick, easy access to RMNP. The host was responsive and everything from check in to check out was quick and well communicated. The house had everything we needed for our party of 6, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Lovely property! Very clean! The beds were very comfortable! The best we had on our 10 day road trip. I felt the property was even better than shown in the online photos. Would come back here.

A little far out for us from town

Excellent cabin very clean, a little out of way from shopping and food from down town Estes but within reason. Cabin had great furniture, bathrooms and kitchen. We used the grill on deck with good outdoor furniture and great views of mountains.

Great location and views!

The cabin was incredibly clean, charming, and cozy. The wood burning fireplace was fabulous - our favorite amenity! We loved the location, which offered us some isolation and fabulous mountain views! Nonetheless, access to downtown Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel Whiskey Bar was quick and easy.

Cabin was very nice and worked well for 4 adults. Nice that it is away from town but easy to access town and the park entrances. Would be nice to have a more complete list of what is provided - virtually all kitchen needs are there, hair driers, etc. Only problem we had were TVs not working - for us not a big problem but with children might be an issue.

Perfect place!

This was a perfect house in a great neighborhood. The house had a nice view and was close to downtown Estes and Rocky Mountain NP. We also enjoyed the deck!
