The Retreat at Firefly- 2 homes, pool, game zone!

Welcome to The Retreat at Firefly, a private coastal getaway in Wells, Maine designed for unforgettable group escapes. With two homes on a private property with accommodations for up to 25 guests, Firefly is the perfect destination for family reunions, multi-family vacations, wedding groups & special celebrations. Spend your days relaxing by the pool, enjoy outdoor games or explore nearby beaches. Spend rainy days in the basement game zone. In the evening, gather around the outdoor fireplaces.

The Gathering house sleeps up to 15 and is where everyone naturally comes together. Just off the kitchen is a spacious patio that features a large outdoor dining table, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing morning coffee, family breakfasts & dinners cooked on the grill. There’s easy access to the above ground pool & solo stove fire pit with outdoor seating and a warm water rinse-station. Inside there is a relaxed atmosphere designed for slowing down & enjoying vacation. The main floor features an inviting sectional sofa & TV in the living room, a full kitchen with pantry & laundry area, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms with TVs. One of the bathrooms has a shower with a small step up for easy access. Downstairs, the open concept space has a twin over full bunk area, the game zone and a space for workouts with free weights, a stationary bike & yoga mat.

The Loft sleeps up to 10 and is an open concept & welcoming space with a boutique-style vibe. Adorned with chandeliers, large sized table and deep sectional sofa to make it easy to connect, celebrate & create memories with family & friends. The main floor has a bedroom with a king bed. Upstairs is an open concept suite with a king bed, a table for board games, a sectional sofa & another TV with a PS5 game system, small laundry area and 2 bedrooms with twin-over full bunks. There’s also a dedicated workspace nestled underneath another chandelier with an overlook window. Both bathrooms feature showers with a small step up for easy access.

Spend your days relaxing by the pool, enjoy outdoor games including cornhole & giant Connect 4 or explore nearby beaches. On rainy days, compete in the game room that’s equipped with skee ball, a foosball table, arcade style basketball & PS5. In the evening, gather around the outdoor fireplace or fire pit and enjoy dinners at one of the outdoor tables.


Outside the loft is a covered porch with rocking chairs & benches, flanked by a raised flower bed garden, an outside dining table and a rinse station. Outside the Gathering House, there’s another large patio area with outdoor dining, a grill, a warm water rinse-station and large fireplace with additional seating.
