We do have regular monthly pest control service in place; however, being located in the Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and occasionally wildlife or small pests can find their way into a home despite preventative measures. We truly wish you had reached out to us during your stay so we could have responded right away and dispatched our pest control team to address the concern. We hope your next visit to the Smoky Mountains exceeds your expectations.

We really appreciate your feedback regarding the stairs, especially at night. There are light switches located at both the top and bottom of the stairway that illuminate the area, but we appreciate you sharing your observations about visibility on the bottom step. We are also reviewing this with our cleaning and inspection team to see if there are any additional improvements we can make, including whether a different or brighter bulb could better illuminate the lower stair area for future guests.
