About Benjamin Farmery

Family of five currently living in Leesburg, Virginia in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Three boys ages 11, 9, and 8 years old. Our family has enjoyed IOP for the past several years and we spend 2-3 weeks per year in the condo.

Why Benjamin Farmery chose Charleston Area

Our family has enjoyed the IOP area for the past several years and we chose this property to purchase last year based on the proximity to the ocean, restaurants, shops, etc. Our family enjoys being able to walk or bike to all local attractions and the endless access to the beach.

What makes this condo unique

We love the stunning ocean views from the patio, the live music at Coconut Joe's just outside our condo in the Spring/Summer/Fall, and the convenience of this location to everything a vacationing family could want. We like to park our car and not need to drive anywhere for days at a time.

The condo was the perfect getaway for my family in March. The condo location was perfect and the views from the balcony were beautiful. The condo itself was clean, decorated beautifully, and very comfortable for our family of five. The decor, furnishings, and beds were much nicer and more comfortable compared to other properties in IOP we have rented. We will be sure to return next year!

Great location and unit is well-furnished and clean.

We were looking for a convenient location with a pool, and directly on the beach. This unit fit all our criteria! This was our 2 year-old granddaughter's first real beach experience and it worked out so well. It was so handy to put her to bed early (7:30) and yet the adults were all able to sit out on the balcony and listen to the music next door. This didn't interrupt her sleep at all as she was in the bedroom closest to the entrance and the music just wasn't a problem. We also loved that we could walk to several restaurants. We hope to come back in the future.

Short Beach Vacation

We were attending a wedding in North Carolina and a trip to the beach is always needed while in the south! We found this property that could rent for less than a week and loved it. We have never been to Isle of Palms but had seen it on a show . Since we are looking forward to retiring south in a few years it was worth checking out. The property was perfect and on the beach so close to good restaurants. Long Island Grill has the best fish! The refuge the best breakfast! We got to hear good music coming from next door at Coconut Joe's, food was okay there too. A few stores right across the street for gifts. The only draw back for me which would keep us from settling here is the beach is open in the morning for dogs. I get up very early and walk the beach, had a few encounter's with people not paying attention to large dogs running up to me. Other than that it was a perfect few days. Very clean and we had everything we needed to have breakfast and lunch when we didn't feel like getting out of our bathing suits.
