Nice property has everything you need but if you forget something there's a decent convenient store right next door. Great location

Very clean and cozy. The parking spot was much appreciated. In a great area, close enough to walk to the city centre but far enough away that it is quiet.

Came to Salem for the first time for a friend’s wedding. The room was very clean and much more spacious than we expected. It was conveniently located, about a 10 minute walk to downtown Salem and the T station. The neighborhood was quiet and cozy and everything was very accessible on foot. Having an in unit washer dryer was also very convenient!
Living room was nice and cozy for relaxing after a long day walking.
Bedroom was spacious with a huge walk-in closet (not pictured).

It was clean, and the shower was nice. The kitchen was big enough to provide for far more people than will otherwise fit in the unit. The listing is misleading in a few ways: the front door opens directly onto the bedroom area, it isn't a separate room. Don't stay with people you need any privacy around. The living "area" is not really cozy, with a meh sort of sofa and single hard chair, but fine. The biggest issue I have is the description of it being quiet and comfortable for sleep. Bridge St is pretty busy all the time (I did not know when booking), and the unit lets in a lot of road noise, despite being on the 2nd floor—like just regular car driving down the road is very audible. We stayed in September, so we used the window a/c that is poorly placed for sleeping and makes a racket. Worst of all is the actual bedframe which makes an insane amount of noise at the slightest move. The bedding was poor, like motel quality. There were no toiletries of any kind, so bring literally everything. We left bandaids when we needed some and found a nearly empty first aid kit hidden in the bathroom drawer. The checkout time was very early and completely inflexible despite late-departing flights. Salem itself was great and walking down there was fine but I expected at least a fresh box of tissues for the cost of this unit. They really put the bare minimum in and can charge so much money in season.

The guests review is negitave because she was upset we couldn't accommodate a later checkout for her. We are not a hotel. It is completely inaccurate. We provide shampoo and conditioner and soap as well as toilet paper and paper towels and laundry detergent. When you enter originally, you do enter through the bedroom for ease of check-in. There is a back door you can utilize from there in the kitchen for further use. The furniture in the living room is new. This guest is never invited back to stay with us.
