Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a surprise for sure. Very clean, very nice, so beautiful - perfect I think. I was expecting something that would be alright, but this place was way better than what we had imagined. Our host was so helpful to give us directions and recommendations. Why would I want to stay anywhere else? I wouldn't.

Great location. Perfect for two couples. Hilton pool pass was great but we enjoyed the convenience of the nearby pool just as much. Really appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, etc. and the nice BBQ's provided. Mahalo!

Nice place in gated community, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. A couple of maintenance issues came up and the property management took care of them quickly.

This is a professionally managed condo in a resort area and is exactly as generically "nice" as you'd expect it to be. Great Wi-Fi and fast internet. Much better than average TV setup in (20-ft vaulted ceiling!) living room (and TVs in all bedrooms). Four bikes; boogie boards; beach chairs; umbrella; beach wagon; snorkels; fins and much more beach equipment. Fully equipped kitchen. Ultra soft beds (too soft for us - c'est la vie). All in all, while we could quibble about specific aspects of the place, there is nothing worth mentioning -- it's a nice place with nothing objectively wrong or bad about it. The Hilton Pool Pass is curious. The actual pools are only worth it if you have very small children -- they are a water park for people who've never been to a water park. But the salt water lagoon has surprisingly great snorkeling. We saw sea turtles, manta rays, many reef fish, needlefish, and even a few barracudas! There's a Dolphin Quest exhibit, too, if you're into captive dolphins performing. The Hilton Beach Resort area feels like a theme park version of the "real" Hawaii. The restaurants are all tasty, but expensive and corporate. Good local restaurants are a 30 minute drive away (recommend a take-home poke bowl from a KTA Grocery and a mix plate from Ippy's in Waimea). Stay in Hilo if you want to immerse yourself in an authentic Hawaii experience, that'll be a little messy. Stay here if you want a curated generic tropical island experience where everything is "nice".

The townhouse was really nice and comfortable. We utilized the pool and tennis court. Location was great! We want to come back soon! One suggestion for improvement: having blackout blinds or shades in the bedrooms would have been nice so you can sleep in on vacation if desired. Thanks for the great stay!

First, Alison is such an amazing and thoughtful host. We chatted for about a half hour prior to my family’s stay at her property, just to get to know each other a little more, and for me to inquire about the expectations of the property given I would be staying there with 2 small children. I instantly connected with Alison due to her warmth and her family’s story. Second, wow the property itself is absolutely fantastic, very large spacious rooms which were great for allowing my 4 yo and 2 yo space to play with their toys and allowing us parents to get some space from them :). The bedroom lanai is particularly wonderful when you just want to read a book or enjoy the pool view. The condo itself is literally steps away from the pool which was great. Alison and her husband literally thought of everything when making the stay comfortable, I highly recommend this property and Alison, I look forward to staying here again in the future!
