Ideal location! Beautiful beachfront property. Super spacious!
We LOVED our vacation. We had room for 18 adults to comfortably sleep and enjoy their vacation. The location was KEY. The beach was beautiful, and we really enjoyed Lake Michigan and having bonfires in front of the water. The sand was nice and clean. We also loved that we were close enough to travel downtown multiple times a day! Definitely recommend! The cleaning checklist is strict, but not overly demanding!
Great house, location, and amenities!
We had a great weekend right on the bay. Hard to ask for more than your own beach, dock, more than enough space, and a great location!
The perfect combination of close to the airport, retail and commercial, and the beauty of the bay.
Our family enjoyed themselves immensely. The beach and water were right out our back door and if we needed anything, or had to be anywhere, route 31 was right out the front.

Extended Family Vacation
Our family loves to vacation in Michigan near the Sleeping Bear Duns. We have quite a large group making it a challenge to find a rental where we can all stay together. This house had plenty of room for our group of 14 adults and 3 children. It has large windows in each living room providing a great view of the Bay. The beach that is literally the back yard was fun for the children but playing in the sand at the water's edge was not possible due to the water grass, reeds and general natural debris that covered the area. The private dock was really semi-private because guests of the Hotel (just 5 yards from the house) occasionally ventured over to enjoy it. A busy main road goes past the front of the house causing quite a lot of road noise that never really lets up except between the hours of 2am and 5am. This caused some sleepless nights for people in bedrooms at the front of the house. 2 of the 4 bathrooms included a bath tub which was nice for bathing small children, however once filled with water, they took an hour to drain. Overall this house is a good rental but I would caution future guests to photograph the house and contents upon arrival, then inspect and re-photograph everything when you leave or you may find that your deposit is not returned due to some damage that you may or may not have been responsible for.
House and overall property was actually better than I expected.t
The house was clean and well laid out for our group. Our sand beach was nice and the dock was an excellent place for viewing the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We were comfortable and enjoyed everything Traverse City had to offer!
Annual Family Beach Week
We rented the beach house on East Traverse Bay for a family reunion which we have held for the past 20 years. Our children and our grand children all attend, ages ranging from from 13 to 24. Everyone had a good time. The house is as advertised and more roomy than we expected, all the rooms being generously sized. The Traverse City region has a great variety of things to do, from vineyards to good restaurants. We brought wave-runners and a small sailboat and the dock was perfect for that. House is close to the water and convenient to the local activities as well. Very good experience with the owners.
