The location and setting were incredible. Very convenient to get to everything in Gatlinburg. Amazing views from the porch. The house is exactly as pictured in the listing. The pool really makes the whole place, we spent so much time in there and the kids loved it.I ran into a couple issues though. First, the cleanliness is very superficial. It's obvious that the house hasn't gotten a deep cleaning in a while. All the blinds were dusty, under beds and behind furniture was pretty gross with lots of dust bunnies and old trash from previous guests.Another issue is that it seems whoever is operating the text support doesn't really know the house very well. I had questions about the operation of things like the sauna and movie room, and they responded vaguely and then stopped responding when the question clearly hadn't been answered. We couldn't really use the ceiling fans in the kids rooms because the remotes were missing--one of them was stuck on ultra high speed, no light, and the other one was medium speed, bright white light.A few cushions outside were missing, one of the hammock chairs was broken and unusable, the light by the swing bench was broken, a lot of the lights in and around the house were different colors. None of these things on their own are big deals, but taken together I think it shows that the people running the property aren't really paying attention to the details. These are all minor frustrations that didn't change the fact that we had fun.

Thank you for taking the time to lay all of this out so thoughtfully and for the balance in your review. The location, the views from the porch, and especially that pool sound like they delivered exactly the experience you came for, and we're glad the kids got so much out of it. That said, the details you raised deserve a real response, and we're sorry the overall care behind the scenes didn't match the setting. The cleanliness issues in particular, along with the missing fan remotes, the broken and missing items around the property, and the mismatched lighting, have all been passed along to our team so they can be properly addressed. Your point about the support responses not being as helpful as they should have been has been shared as well, since knowing the home inside and out is exactly what that team is there for. We appreciate you giving us such a clear picture, and we're glad the fun outweighed the frustrations. If you find yourself back in Gatlinburg, we'd welcome the chance to show you a more polished stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Gatlinburg! The property is incredibly well-equipped and truly has something for everyone. The indoor pool and hot tub were a huge hit, especially with our kids, and the game room—with its pool table and arcade games—kept everyone entertained for hours. The theater room was another favorite and made for some great family movie nights. The house itself is very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The full kitchen had everything we needed, making meals easy during our stay. One of our favorite features was the porches on each level—each offering stunning views and a perfect place to relax. One of the most memorable parts of our trip was seeing bears every day! It was such a unique and exciting experience for the whole family. The hosts were wonderful—very helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for families or anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway in the Smoky Mountains!

It sounds like the indoor pool, hot tub, game room, and theater room were huge hits — perfect for keeping everyone entertained and making those family movie nights special. We love that the full kitchen made meals easy and that the porches on each level, with their stunning views, gave you the ideal spots to relax. And seeing bears every single day? What a unique thrill for the whole family! It's wonderful to hear our team was helpful and responsive throughout, too. They have the wrong code for door on arrival, called for new code which took about 45 minutes to get it. Paid for pool heat and they emailed and said it would be ready at arrival, but when I got there it was ice cold, I called and they said it needed parts and was broken, they could have told me before I arrived. I rented house especially for the pool. Hot tub outside and we had bears around the yard all week, so couldn't use that. Not worth what I paid for. Small tvs in bedrooms.
