About this property

"Beachy" 1BR, 2 Bth Condo w/Ocean/Mtn View-No Resort Fees!

It's cold and rainy outside...but not in Maui. We invite you to come and visit our condo and enjoy not only our 1 BR, 2 bath, full kitchen, LR, DR and no resort fees condo but also our private oasis. Palm trees are swaying, tropical breezes, island birds singing their songs, privacy....All this and the ocean is never more than a few steps away. Stroll the manicured grounds under the shade of the swaying banyan trees. Play a set on the tennis court, take a cooling dip in one of the two swimming pools or relax in one of the soothing hot tubs. The grounds are right across the street from one of Maui's best white sand beaches... ideal for casual strolls, swimming and sunbathing. Our condo was just renovated in April 2019. Our goal was to modernize the unit yet maintain a beachy, coastal vibe. We think we accomplished all of that. The renovation included new flooring, new cabinets throughout, granite counter tops, all new GE appliances and, of course, fresh paint. . We also expanded our lanai, and added a king size bed. Both bathrooms were completely remodeled as well.
The Maui Banyan is located in beautiful South Kihei, on the island's south shore. The resort enjoys a prime location and access to adjacent Kamaole Beach II, with it's playgrounds and open green space. The resort's beauty is offset by the towering peak of Haleakala in the background, which provides cooling shade in Kihei during hot afternoon hours, providing a perfect atmosphere for golf and other activities.

Perfect location with a well stocked property - from linens, kitchen and beach items. It really would have been an added benefit to have a AC for the bedroom as it unfortunately remained rather warm at night. I enjoy a cooler sleep environment. The host was super flexible with our check in time which we greatly appreciated.

Amazing location wonderful amenities

Kihei was the perfect location for our family vacation. Lots of close by amenities and amazing sunset viewing at Kamaole beach every night within walking distance. We can’t say enough about this amazing condo. We’re already planning another trip back!

A Piece of Paradise

Property was great and was accurately portrayed. The location is great for walking to beaches, restaurants and shops. The beaches in Wailea are spectacular and are only a 10 min drive away.

Great place in a great location

The condo is newly renovated and well maintained. Furniture and appliances were very nice and comfortable. Great location with the beach across the street and many restaurants/stores within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location!

We love staying in Kihei and this was our favorite rental yet. The location was fantastic, the lanai was private with amazing views. We watched a family of deer everyday in the garden area! The A/C worked well and the ice maker in the freezer was an unexpected treat. The bed was super comfortable and having two bathrooms was something we didn't even know we needed!

Perfect location steps away from the beach watched every sunset the chirping of the birds in the morning being able to see the ocean and the mountain at sunrise. It’s a great location. Property pool is close by parking is a plus can’t wait to come back very clean.

Wonderful Maui Vacation

Maui visit

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean. Having the second bathroom was a bonus. There was a cooler, beach chairs and umbrella. Lovely view out the lanai. Plenty of pots and pans to cook meals. We would definitely stay here again. The location was close to grocery stores.

First visit to Maui

This is a very nicely layed out condo, quiet, on the garden side so private and shady. Everything you need is provided, beach chairs, umbrellas, fins, boogie board. The kitchen is well stocked with plates and glasses, and appliances.

My husband Joe and I live in Auburn CA.. We both work full time, but we try to get to the condo in Maui about every 6 months to make sure it is ready for our guests.
We have an on-island manager who is available to call for any maintenance and repairs.

Why they chose this property

We love Kihei for it's weather, it's proximity to the ocean, and for the ease of getting to all areas of the island.

What makes this property unique

In our unit you get both sunrise (over Haleakala) and gorgeous sunsets. We love the privacy that the 4th floor gives us, especially since there is a very large open space between us and the condo complex across the way. The beach just across the street is wonderful, there's a walking 'path' from our beach all the way to Wailea and it's all along the beach. It is just comfy, homey, beachy, and a great place to stay. We also provide beach chairs, a cooler and other beach items for your use.
