This unique barn rental is a repurposed 80-year-old chicken coop sitting 30 feet above the Dowagiac creek nestled under a canopy of trees near Niles. It can provide up to four guests with the experience of glamping in Michigan. Inside, guests will find a plush queen-size bed appointed with soft bedding and linens. A short distance away, there is a platform with a tent and a double mattress to sleep a further two guests. There is a cozy bathroom with a toilet and a sink, and a private outdoor rain shower. Towels are kindly provided by the hosts.
The interior of the barn boasts a vintage vibe and is stylishly decorated to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere for guests to relax in. There's a wall-mounted TV for evening entertainment and a mini-fridge and a microwave for guests to prepare hot drinks and snacks. Sliding barn doors open to reveal a charming wooden porch with a couple of comfy Adirondack chairs to sit, read, and enjoy the panoramic view, as well as the nearby fire pit. A grassy switchback path leads from the repurposed chicken coop to a platform area featuring a 10' by 12' Davis wall tent. Steps away, there is a winding creek perfect for fishing, paddling, and tubing.
