Bucksport is 30 minutes from Bangor Airport, 40 minutes from Bar Harbor/Acadia, 30 minutes from Camden, Blue Hill, Castine and other lovely areas. Bella Cottage is only 40' from the lake in a pristine swimmable cove, yet only 15 minutes to the town Bucksport, with grocery store and restaurants. Fabulous views and all of the modern upscale conveniences for your comfort and pleasure. Three bedroom, 2 bath, single story cottage completely furnished, including all linens. The master and 2nd bedroom have a queen size bed (firm) and the 3rd bedroom has a futon that is converted into a full size bed. AIR CONDITIONING in the Living Room and Master Bedroom for your comfort, as it can get hot in the summer! Ceiling fans throughout. The cottage has WIFI for internet access and an incumbent bike for exercise on a rainy day. Front load full size large capacity washer and dryer for your convenience -- no trips to the laundry mat. Minutes to downtown Bucksport where you have access to groceries, gas stations, restaurants and fun things to do, like seeing the Observation Tower on the Penobscot bridge, Fort Knox, and taking a movie in at a quaint 1920's local movie theater, the best old fashioned ice cream shoppe, good memorable restaurants, book store, fish hatchery, take a walk along the awesome walking trail on the waterfront, see the new Art Light House, Huckleberries gift shop, and sweet cheeks bakery. Be sure to see the grave marker of Colonel Buck on Main Street, where the legend says a witch burned at the stake said she'd leave a boot and a heart on his tombstone! The cottage is stocked with high end sheets and towels, plenty of linens as well as items such as hand soap, bar soap for showers, toilet paper, paper towels, k-cups, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and a few other such items for your convenience. Discount of 5% for 14 nights or more for stays from June to the end of September. Discount of 10% for 28 days or more. Cottage is perfect for 2 couples or 4 to 5 people, maximum.
