About The Owner

Biddle Ranch Vineyard was conceived by a local group of friends with a passion for fine wine, good food, and a desire to creating a 'one of a kind' property to share with our guests. We created Biddle Ranch Vineyard Wines as our collaborative way of advocating the natural approach to crafting great wines and the connection to the land as a way of life. Every element of Biddle Ranch - the wine, the setting, the people and general aesthetics are consistent with the way we feel life should be: simple, authentic and less-contrived.

The Owner purchased this house in 2013

Guestbook comments from the manager

To the whole Biddle Ranch Family-

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house with us. Our family had a wonderful stay and our two young girls in particular loved their time here. It made a wonderful setting for a lovely New Years Eve. Thank you for all for the hospitality and we hope to return in the future!

Beautiful property in a stunning setting!

  • 3 of 5

This is an amazing property! Beautifully decorated, nice linens and bedding, Heath dishes, beautiful thoughtful landscaping etc. Lots of nice spots to sit outdoors and take in the views. Our main reason for 3 stars was just the fact the configuration was not quite comfortable for 12 adults. We were 4 families, and 2 of the four have 2 grown kids each! Basically 4 of the beds (incl. 2 pullouts) are squished in one tight wing of the house with one bathroom in that area. The other 2 rooms had more space/ privacy and their own bathrooms.

(we basically had to go buy air mattresses and bedding for our kids or they would have been on the couches in the main room) Kind of a bummer and added to the already pricey cost! It felt a bit expensive for that reason. Also the kitchen could have been better equipped for cooking for a large group.

All that said we had a fun time gathered for Thanksgiving holiday... wine tasting and corn hole right outside were fun too! You should know the winery tasting room is basically in the front yard and people are there hanging out! It was not a problem just should know! :)

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at Biddle Ranch. We had 4 couples stay for a long weekend while in town celebrating a Birthday and destination wedding. The home is large, the outdoor area is phenomenal. Decorating and landscaping are just terrific. The location is great, close enough to downtown but we felt very secluded. The views are amazing from all angles. I worked with Leigh who manages the property. She was easy to communicate with, kind and informative.

pictures do not justify this beautiful house, everything inside and outside was done with a premium, no cutting corners, lori and time were great at taking care of us and responding to our needs, would definitely come back!

Beauiful setting for a wedding!

  • 5 of 5

When choosing our wedding venue, we wanted a place that not only radiated the Central Coast but one that felt intimate and unique. From the gorgeous layout to the tranquil landscapes, the Vineyard House simply staged the presence for our incredibly beautiful and romantic day. Our guests and vendors were warmly cared for from Biddle Ranch's staff and all left with heartfelt appreciation for the restoration and care of every detail of the home. As the Bridal Couple, our stay was simply perfect. From large "his and her" suites to the fantastic outdoor patio space, our prep time was simply perfect along with our stay.

Perfect and better than we expected!

  • 5 of 5

Everything at Biddle Ranch was perfect. The house is gorgeously decorated and everything is comfortable too! The beds are so cozy and the sheets and pillows are high quality....also the towels are super soft. The bathrooms are lush, seriously this house could be in Sunset Magazine. I just love this place. We were celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday and cooked a big meal in the kitchen and also were able to utilize the outdoor pizza oven and grill. Speaking of the outdoor area....this is one of my favorite areas. It has a large area with 2 giant tables that seat at least 20 people. They have heat lamps everywhere so that you aren't the least bit chilled. Then there is another outdoor seating area with couches and chairs and a wood burning fireplace. The entire outdoor area is lit up with overhead cafe lighting. What I'm trying to say is that this place is magical. I don't want to stay anywhere else when visiting SLO. Lovely touches like wine from the Biddle Winery and a pretty fresh flower arrangement on the dining table. I'm not mentioning everything that was so great about this place because my review would go on way too long. But, one last thing...right outside the front door is a Chardonnay vineyard. Its a great place to walk around and take pictures.
