About Kristy Petrillo
Hi, I’m Kristy Petrillo. I’m excited that you’ve found our “Heaven on Earth” in the North GA mountains. I’ve lived up here in our little slice of paradise for almost 15 years now, and been the top producing real estate agent for many of those years. I personally invest in many properties here myself, owning numerous highly successful rental cabins. I’ve been featured as an agent and a home re-modeler on several shows on HGTV, and use my expertise and insights to help you make your own valuable investment, or find that perfect second home. For me, the heart of Blue Ridge is Lake Blue Ridge itself. Lake Blue Ridge has over 3,000 acres of the cleanest, prettiest water you’ll find anywhere in the Southeast, and some of the best fishing too! Plus, with over 85% of the shoreline preserved as national forest, we don’t get the crowds you find at other more developed lakes. Even on a weekend you’ll often feel like you have the whole lake to yourself! I’m proud to be an owner myself on Lake Blue Ridge for almost 10 years now, and when I’m not out showing property and writing contracts you’ll find me out on a boat wake surfing or cocktail cruising. Come with me sometime, you’ll be ready to put an offer in on a lake house that same day! I’m also thrilled and proud to be raising my three precious boys in Blue Ridge, with its excellent school system, and our very own flying trapeze rig in our backyard! I love Moscow Mules, spicy tequila, and artisan cheeses. l go kite boarding in the Dominican Republic whenever I can, and recently participated in an amazing entrepreneurs networking group called Mai Tai, through which I had the incredible opportunity to meet Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Airlines. His Necker Island Resort and Virgin Limited Edition properties are an inspiration in how to provide world-class vacation experiences to guests, something I have applied to my own rentals right here in Blue Ridge.
Why Kristy Petrillo chose Blue Ridge
This spacious lodge is tucked away on one of the most beautiful unspoiled mountain lakes in the region. You can enjoy lake views from nearly every room. The new lakeside covered party deck is a great place to gather outside with friends and family.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful with a wonderful view of the private lake. It housed 14 adults with plenty of space and privacy. The outdoor living space was definitely the best part for our group. We got to enjoy an endless fire starting before sun up to well after sun down. There were plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy with all of the arcade games and pool table down stairs while also canoeing and kayaking around the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with many kitchen tools, pots, pans, and utensils as well as serving pieces. We did take some of our larger pots and pans since we were cooking for a large group. It was a perfect weekend! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We strive to anticipate our guests wants and needs and its great to hear we hit the mark. Thanks for the great review!
The cabin has almost everything you need. From activities for the kids to plenty of dishes to prepare a home cooked meal. It is plenty of space with awesome views of the lake. My family and I had a very Merry Christmas at this cabin.
Fun place for large group to gather and play!
Beautiful Location, close to town.
We had a wonderful relaxing family vacation, the kids loved the game room and jumping off the dock. The lake is absolutely beautiful and very clear. The House has plenty of room for everyone. We rented a pontoon from Lake Blue Ridge Marina which is literally right around the bend from this home. The inlet allows for privacy and absolutely no boat traffic unless it was one of the few neighbors. Location is just a few short minutes from town. We recommend a trip to Ingles grocery, they had the best fresh trout and seafood.
Pros: Beautiful location, plenty of room, privacy, and close to town.
Cons: Needs new outdoor furniture, pictures are not accurate, we purchased chair cushions, table cloth and place mats in order to use deck, house overall needs a good deep cleaning. We scrubbed black goo and soot off of the deck from fire-pit that had overflowed. All of which should have been checked before the arrival of guest. We also contacted customer service about the deck issues. The gas grill does not work consistently.
Thank you for your review and we're glad you enjoyed staying at the cabin. We're aware of the deck repairs but because the deck would have to be out of commission while they are being made we chose to wait 3 weeks until we had a few days in between guests to make the repairs so we didn't inconvenience anyone. Heading out to Home Depot today to purchase a new grill and outdoor furniture. Thanks for letting us know!
Holy amazing house!!
Holy cow this house is unbelievable! There a seven fricking bedrooms!! The furniture is beautiful and comfortable at the same time, and there's so much space to spread out in yet it still feels cozy and inviting. Our family was gathered there for our annual family reunion, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We swam in the lake, rented the pontoon boat conveniently located right in the dock, and enjoyed daily runs along the secluded lake-side roads. We will definitely be coming back time and time again!
Gorgeous lake house for our family vacation! This home accommodates a lot of folks. Tastefully decorated with a mix of upscale and rustic decor, perfect quiet setting on Lake Blue Ridge. The home had everything we needed. We enjoyed several family dinners at the home, but also found that it is just a hop-skip-jump from downtown Blue Ridge with it's wonderful dining opportunities. The lake is beautiful and blue, surrounded by wooded mountains, and there is low boat traffic on the lake because there are so few cabins on this lake. We enjoyed sightseeing in the area, especially the swinging bridge over the Toccoa River (the road out there is a little rough but so worth the trip!), and a couple of local waterfalls. We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend this lake house for a lake getaway.
