By the way, as a student I worked for Your Vacation Home's architect, Barry Berkus, who designed this project. Small world huh?

Though now retired, am still enjoying camping, hiking, restauranting, and museuming.

This is your, and my, place to call Home Base. To return to and Chill. Which is Why This Home is so attractive to me, for I've been enjoying Palm Springs since 1950 or so.

Real mid-century modern

I've been spending November in Palm Springs for a some years now, and I always try to rent a place with a mid-century pedigree. This was one of the best. The zig-zag roof alone makes you smile when you arrive. The owner has kept the place largely in original condition and filled it with well-chosen mid-century furnishings (and a totem pole in the patio). The vibe is that of a well-loved and well-maintained older home where real people live (not a museum or a magazine spread, if that's what you're looking for). The complex is well-maintained and has a nice pool I never used. On the map, the location looks a bit remote from the heart of town, but Palm Springs is compact and easy to navigate. Any caveats? The kitchen does not have an exhaust vent -- or I didn't find it. (I'm not much of a cook, so it never mattered.) The owner Barry could not have been nicer or more responsive.

Wonderful February in Araby Cove

The condo is well-equipped, the windows provide oh, so much light, the library is stacked with great reading, the patio has sun in the morning so coffee time can be outside, stores within walking distance, and nature walks close by are beautiful.

The best condo I have stayed in near downtown

This beautiful condo was just what I was looking for in comfort, close to beautiful sparkling pool, and restaurants within walking distance. The breathtaking views of the mountains was a perfect background for my morning walk. I highly recommend this condo and will stay there again

Moorten botanical gardens and Indian Canyon just a short distance on South Palm Canyon, Airport but not any noise, Art museum two in PS. Golf and Tennis Courts very close, Convention Center and Casinos close by, coffee houses also close by, PS famous air museum with decommissioned fighter jets, classic car dealers within a couple miles, Eisenhower medical Center 5 mins away, Annenberg Estate, famous Kaufman house, Elvis honeymoon home, Frank Sinatra's old home, all convenient, used book store and many stores and shops close by for Your enjoyment.
