You’ll be just inside Amalfi’s historic old town. Within a few minutes’ walk you can reach the Cathedral, the beach, and the bus station offering connections to Positano, Sorrento, Naples, Ravello, Salerno, Pompei, and more. The port is also nearby, where you can catch ferries to Capri, Ischia, Salerno, Maiori, Positano, and Naples.
Despite being in the center, the apartment is very peaceful, as it is accessible only by staircases (115 steps), keeping it away from the noise of traffic. The stairs are part of the local charme, with picturesque corners typical of the area.
Restaurants, cafés, and shops of all kinds are within easy reach, including one of the best pizzerias, just two minutes down the road.
There is no need for a car to get to the apartment, and I recommend using public transportation to get around the coast. However, for those who prefer driving, there is a paid garage nearby.
The apartment features the characteristic vaulted ceilings of an Amalfi-style house, soaring up to 4 meters.
The apartment, which is cozy and sunny, has been recently refurbished in accordance with the original architectural style and features typical hand-painted Vietri ceramics. Heating and air conditioning are available, as well as an excellent Wi-Fi internet connection. The furniture is modern, with some Art Nouveau style pieces.
The apartment consists of:
- A large living room with a dining area and a comfortable sofa bed that can be used as a single bed
- A small but complete kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals
- A bathroom with a shower, complete with a washing machine
- A bedroom with a double bed, a TV area, and access to the terrace
- A mezzanine with two single beds
The apartment can accommodate 3 people: two in the bedroom and one in the living room. I don’t recommend using the mezzanine in the summer months, as it has no air conditioning.
If I'm unable to greet you personally, someone will be there to welcome you with the same warmth and enthusiasm for Amalfi.
Enjoy a spectacular view of the Torre dello Ziro while relaxing on our fully-equipped 20m² terrace.

Great time staying here. Roberta was a very responsive and welcoming host. The place was clean and was in a fantastic location, very close to the center of town without being noisy. Would stay again.

Beautiful Gem In Amalfi

Rita and team where amazing from beginning to end. The property is in a great location in the heart of Amalfi with a reasonable amount of stairs for the area and there is a restaurant about half way if you need a boost. We cannot wait to return here soon.

Stayed here end of September 2024 Location is an easy walk to the town centre. Pay attention on your walk in as it is a little confusing Unit was clean. Had everything we needed. Only issue I was the patio door off the bedroom we couldn’t lock we ended up placing furniture against the door

Amazing location! INCREDIBLE VIEWS!

Apt manager Roberta was amazing. Really the only complaint, was the floors....not cleaned well. Other than that, apt was ok. We had to buy paper towels, soap and a few other things. Would we stay at same location again....YES, for the VIEWS!

This property has a very tiny kitchen and not enough space to hang your clothes ..Also VRBO should make sure that the price posted per/night should include everything and no strings attached., like all the hotels do. I wont recommend this property to anyone

Dear Artan, I'm so sorry to read your stay in our apartment didn't live to the expectations. I'm honestly a bit surprised because both the kitchen and the wardrobes are shown in photos and guests are able to evaluate if they fit their purposes – we haven't received any complaints so far on that. I'm also not sure what you refer to in terms of the pricing on vrbo. The only added costs are the air conditioning and the city tourist tax. The air conditioning cost is a sustainability measure to avoid waste and it very often results in a very low amount. While the tourist tax is a city tax on which we have no control at all. I hope this clarifies everything and feel free to write me a message in case you have further questions!

We really enjoyed the location and the size is a plus. The young lady (we can’t remember her name) who met us at the street to lead us to the place was wonderful. Our biggest concern was the lack of a deep cleaning. On the surface, it looked good, but as we got situated, we noticed quite a few unclean areas. Also, if you are like us and need a mold-less shower, this isn’t your place Had we not spent so much money on this apartment, we probably wouldn’t have expected so much. It definitely has potential, if they just put a little better effort into it. It is possible that the cleaning person didn’t show up before our arrival so we don’t want to assume this is all normal Sorry for this not so favorable review, but we need to be honest so that people can trust them. Lovely apartment in Amalfi

This was a charming apartment for a stay in Amalfi. It is perfectly located in town. The beds are firm and comfortable. The terrace has a lovely view of the town and cliffs and lots of sun. There is not an ocean view but that did not diminish the loveliness of eating our breakfast outside with the view you see in the photos. The apartment is cozy but has plenty of room for a family of 4 (or even 5). The kitchen and amenities worked perfectly, with plenty of coffee pots for your morning caffe. Hairdryer included, which is lovely in a foreign country when you don't want to bring your own, it had good power! Everything is close in town, including two grocery stores and many little fruit and other markets. The owner, Rita, was very lovely and accommodating. She graciously interrupted her personal plans to meet us at an unexpected time (due to travel issues). She gave many helpful suggestions and ways always available by e-mail or text for any questions about the apartment or the town. Very pleasant. I would recommend this darling little apartment to anyone staying in Amalfi!

Disappointing Stay Despite Great Location

We booked this property for a girls’ getaway, expecting comfortable sleeping arrangements for four single women. The listing advertised three sleeping spaces (twin beds, a double bed, and a pullout couch). Upon arrival, only the pullout and double bed were made, with no spare sheets for the twin beds. When we asked for more sheets, we were told the beds provided were “enough for four” and that two of us were expected to share the small pullout couch (which was located in the kitchen and directly connected to the bathroom). When we requested additional sheets, we were told they wouldn’t be available until after we checked out. As a workaround, we had to move a sheet from the pullout to one of the twin beds, but this left one twin bed unusable. We received only one towel each, with no hand towels in the bathroom. The bathroom itself wasn’t clean (hair on the toothbrush holder and dust in the corners), and the shower didn’t drain at all, meaning no showers after a day of hiking. Other disappointments included extra charges for air conditioning, not enough dish towels or toilet paper, giant dust balls beside the fridge, and not enough wine glasses. On the plus side, Anna and Luigi, the property managers, were helpful, and the location and terrace were beautiful. However, the owner’s lack of attention to detail was frustrating, and after climbing 150 stairs, we expected a cleaner and more comfortable apartment. Unfortunately, we would not book this place again.

To summarize, I would say that your problem is that, having booked for 4 people, you expected to find 6 beds ready. From the ad, it is clear that the 4 places offered are 2 in the bedroom (with a double bed) and 2 in the living room (with a sofa bed that can be prepared as two singles or a double). The mezzanine is defined as "additional space", it was used in the past for bookings of 5 people but, since it does not have air conditioning, I recently gave up making it available and reduced the maximum number of guests to 4. I would also have accommodated your desire to sleep in a more uncomfortable position (there is a staircase, no air conditioning, it is further from the bathroom, there is less privacy with the bedroom) but I did not have the possibility of giving you additional sheets as the external service that provides them requires 2 days' notice and the sheets would have arrived on the morning of your departure. It seemed like a good compromise that you moved the sheets to the beds you preferred, which you did for one person but it is not clear why you did not move the sheets of both single beds from the living room to the mezzanine. The other criticisms can be easily refuted by the photos and descriptions of the ad: the sofa bed is not in the kitchen but in the living room, it is not small but is made up of two 80 * 190 beds, the steps are not 150 but 115, the supplement for air conditioning should not have been a surprise because it is written in the ad.............

The owner Rita was very responsive and left us a very nice welcome basket with a bunch of snacks Only suggestions are 1) let people know in advance the best way to get to the flat with the fewest number of steps, there are a lot no matter which way you go but some are shorter than others 2) check in was a little delayed .we gave info in advance Re :which ferry we were arriving on but still waited over an hour to be able to meet the agency rep who checked us in . Other than those few things it was wonderful! Lots of great places to eat , prices much better than Positano and very convenient for day trips along the coast

Awesome location and patio

The perfect spot in Amalfi for travelers who don't want to bring their own vehicle. Very walkable to everything in town, including bus stops, but still plenty of stairs to get to it (like everything in the area). The apartment worked well for our group of (4) people - there was a queen bed, a couch that turned into two separable beds, and two twin beds in a loft. The loft did get very hot, so we didn't even use it. The patio is the best feature and was the perfect place to have dinner. Note that this property is managed by an agency. Tip - be sure to ask for a different check out time well in advance so they know when to meet you. You will have to put down a deposit in cash for the second key and you will have to pay for A/C consumption (very minimal).

Above the Fray (crowds)

We loved this apartment. It had everything we needed (except a fan in the loft, which we easily bought on the main street). You can easily walk everywhere from here. It is also close to the ferry and bus terminals. However, it is not for the faint of fitness - because you will climb several stairs, several times a day to come and go. If staying in shape is your goal, you will not go wrong here. It is away from the crowds in the piazza and therefore very quiet. It also has a lovely large patio for your morning coffee and your evening glass of wine. We enjoyed our stay in Amalfi, and I would come back to this apartment in the future.

We loved our home away in Amalfi. The flat was clean, the views of the mountains were lovely!

Our unit was very clean, the kitchen is small but we ate out so no problem. The views were amazing of the nearby hills. The patio was a great addition to our Home Away, because not only could we enjoy the views, we could sit and relax, we had a clothesline which was handy and we could enjoy the wonderful sound of church bells from the comfort of the patio. There were quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, but that was good for our general fitness. There were 4 adults in the unit and we had plenty of space. It was a quiet peaceful environment which we all took the opportunity to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of The Amalfi township. The agents were more than helpful. They were so willing to advise and help us out with everything! The owner responded to our enquiry quickly and our communication was stress free. We would go back to the apartment again!

This place was in the perfect location for someone traveling with young kids. We were minutes away from the heart of amalfi and it was so easy to come and go from the apartment. The management company was super helpful and amazing. The only issue we had was that the upstairs bedroom was very hot. We had the air conditioning on and even opened windows but it didn’t seem to help. The kids complained every morning of being hot all night. The kitchen was tiny but we didn’t eat many meals at home. The washing machine was great and the terrace was perfect to hang out at night. We loved it and would definitely return and recommend it!!

Perfect little Amalfi Home

We really enjoyed our stay here (me and three girlfriends)! The home had a decent sized main room, bathroom, and bedroom. The two twin beds in the loft were nice as well. The kitchen is very small but we were able to cook a couple meals here. The patio is really nice and we absolutely loved eating dinner out here and enjoying the view. The shower was great and there was a washer so we were able to do laundry. We did not use the air conditioning and although we were warm we survived haha. Some fans inside would have been really nice. It's close to everything (It's Amalfi, you're always close to everything). I think our favorite part about the place was Rosella, the woman from the agency L'altra Costiera who checked us in. She is the sweetest! She was so friendly and helpful! We didn't have the opportunity to meet Rita but her emails were very kind and prompt. I will miss this place!

Very nice property

The property itself was spacious and clean and well-equipped. It has a lovely terrace (which is a must if you want to get some fresh air because the apartment is high up.) The second bedroom, in the loft, is only accessible via the main bedroom. There are two single beds and my adult sons slept there but we felt that although you couldn't see into the loft from the main bedroom and vice versa, there was a lack of privacy as our bedroom was the thoroughfare for anyone sleeping in the loft as they needed to pass through the main bedroom to access the kitchen and the bathroom. There were excellent amenities such as the washing machine, air con (small fee applicable) and the handy hairdryer which you will find there but I did feel the kitchen was a little on the small side. We ate mostly indoors in the evenings so a larger kitchen would have been better for us. I did ask the Managing Agent (their office is based in the road downstairs) if a kettle could be provided as we were boiling water in a saucepan but she said it was something I would need to contact the property owner directly about, which I did not do in the end. I appreciate that in Italy, espresso coffee is the popular drink but I feel a kettle would have been good to have and I was surprised not to find one there. Also, the television was based in the main bedroom and I feel it would have been better situated in the living/dining area. The wi-fi provided is very good and is not charged as an extra. Rita, the owner, is very courteous and responds promptly via email if you have queries. All in all, the property was nice.

Ottima Sistemazione

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento ed in quello sottostante per due settimane, per lo svolgimento di un progetto di ricerca universitario. Eravamo un gruppo misto di Italiani e stranieri, ed abbiamo optato per affittare entrambi gli appartamenti. Innanzitutto la posizione, all'interno del centro e delle scalinate tipiche della Costiera, ci ha fatto sentire parte del tessuto della città. Il Terrazzino aveva una magnifica vista, ed è stato un fantastico luogo per colazioni, pranzi e cene. Le case sono molto ben tenute, pulite, e con spazi adeguati al numero di posti letto. Ideali per trascorrere una piacevole vacanza in uno dei posti più belli del mondo. La gentilezza della proprietaria ha fatto il resto, ci ha accolto con cortesia ed è stata disponibile durante tutto il soggiorno, venendoci incontro su qualche piccola necessità che si è manifestata. Consiglio vivamente!

Casa molto confortevole un bel terrazzo pulita ha tutto quello che serve x bella vacanza ad Amalfi ,

I gradini sono in realtà 101, sono contenta che l'ospite abbia apprezzato anche gli aspetti positivi dell'appartamento.

Perfect place

This place was just perfect for plus and our 2 kids. It's a short walk from everything yet very private and quiet. It has breathtaking views of the mountain from the patio that are wonderful to wake up to. There are conveniences like a washing machine ( came in handy travelling with toddlers) it is well stocked for cooking and eating. wifi is excellent. Rita was extremely responsive and helpful throughout! We would recommend this place to anyone and certainly stay here again.

Lily e la sua famiglia sono stati ospiti eccellenti. Hanno avuto cura per la casa e hanno lasciato tutto in ordine. Consiglio a tutti di ospitarli e sarò felice se decideranno di tornare. Rita
