This 1000 sq foot home has been fully renovated and offers stainless steel appliances, quartz counter-tops and designer paint, and stocked with all the dishes & cookware you will need. The living room boasts a flat screen TV with over 120 HD channels and BlueRay player. Also includes a washer/dryer for your use, and high-speed WiFi. The yard is fully fenced, offering lots of privacy.

There are 3 bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms: bedrooms offer 1) Queen, 2) Queen, and 3) a choice between 2 twins or one King bed depending on what you would like.

This is the perfect location for everything Tacoma has to offer! Additional local attractions include Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, Chihuly Glass Museum, LeMay Glass Museum, Tacoma Dome and a 20+ minute drive to Chambers Bay Golf Course, home of the 2015 US Open.

Nice, quiet place

It's a nice property, the area is very safe, and the location was great for dining and exploring the city, both on foot and easy access to major roadways, everything was as shown in the pictures, and the per-room heating meant everyone was able to sleep comfortably.

Just what we needed

Came to Tacoma for a wedding. Booking a place in a town you’ve never been to can be daunting. This place was steps away from a delicious Pancake house for breakfast and a few more steps to a brewery for dinner.

Amazing stay!

The stay was perfect. The kitchen is fully stocked and in general everything you need for a long weekend was available. Communication with Shannon was great, she was so kind and willing to quickly answer any questions. The house is also in such a great location. We visited for a concert and getting around to restaurants and the tacoma done was great. If I ever need to stay in Tacoma again, I would love to see if this property is available. Again, great stay!!

Great central Tacoma location!

Stayed here to visit a friend in the West end of Tacoma. This place was 9 minutes from everywhere in town. Very nice place to stay and great communication from the owners. Easy parking. Definitely would stay here again!

Great getaway

The property was as discribed, however the bathbooms were very small and bath off the kitchen was not accessible with a mobility device. The porch railing was in desperate need of repair, safety concern. Great location and easy to find. Would stay again and or recommend. Thanks

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this property. It was pretty clean and layout made sense. It is very well equipped for entertaining. We really appreciated the privacy fence that allowed us to comfortably hang outside! Excellent location near restaurants/businesses and highway. The host was very responsive and helpful. There were some minor cleanliness issues and one of the fridge shelves could not support a lot of weight. Everything considered, I would recommend this location and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very nice house for the size.

I was a great place to come back home to each night or have pizza with the family. Beds where comfortable and towels heavy not thin like some places.Loved walking to 6th St for breakfast and a cute place that use to be a firehouse. for a drink and dinner! Only real complain is fixable. As you open the gate there are holes at the side of the sidewalk that my son stepped in and almost hurt his ankles . The railing to the porch isn't sturdy. Besides that, a comfort cozy home!! Talked with Shannon a few times . She was always quick to get back with me and friendly!

Attention to detail

Simply perfect. Nice neighborhood, my wife and 15 y.o. daughter felt comfortable to go for a jog in the evening. Super clean and organized house. Super close to a super Walmart for groceries/items needed..We didn't need to contact the owner for anything. Kitchen was well stocked. Washer/dryer worked great.

Great place to recharge

We had a wonderful time in Tacoma for our daughter's graduation from UPS. Great location to walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner which was very welcome given the busy schedule we had for the weekend. Wish we had known of this gem well before our last days at UPS. Lots of great touches and good living room to relax and recharge. Would recommend to anyone needing a place.

Family Visit ...

There was "everything" you needed if you were to cook in. We were back and forth to the Air Force Base so only had breakfast in, but the place was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy Cottage

This small, yet cozy home is close to plenty of shops and restaurants. Also, easy to get to almost anywhere in Tacoma. We were visiting our daughter at Univ. of Puget Sound and it was just 2-3 minutes away. Off the main drag enough to be quiet and peaceful. Great private yard to hang out and bbq. We really enjoyed our stay with 2 couples.

Just book it!

What a cute little place to stay! We had a fun girls weekend. The house was equipped with more than we expected. Laundry soap, coffee, toiletries. Exceptionally clean and decorated- so cute! One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed in with amenities. It was close to a lot of places to eat and just a couple minutes drive from Temple theater where we saw a comedy show. Don’t think twice about booking - just do it! If we come to the area again, this will be at the top of our list to book!

Great home just off 6th Ave

What a wonderful little home for an extended stay in Tacoma. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked for all of my needs. There is some significant road work in the area that impacted parking a bit, but nothing too inconvenient. And the windows are double paned so street noise was not an issue. I plan to be in the Tacoma area quite a bit over the next few years and will definitely look to stay here again. Only one problem arose during the stay (circuit breaker popped) and the owner was responsive and addressed the issue within an hour. Thank you for sharing your home and being so responsive!

Emily is a local General Contractor and Real Estate Agent who has been renovating houses since 2010. Her love for Tacoma and the Real Estate Industry, led her to buy the Pine Street Rental in 2014, , as vacation rentals for guests from out of town. She loved the idea of creating a restful, clean environment that would provide all the comforts of home, and conveniences of a hotel. You can see some of her construction and design skills in the renovation of the home.

In 2016, Emily’s mom, Shannon, took over the Property Management, after retiring from a long career at Alaska Airlines. Shannon’s history in the travel industry and customer service, as well as her love for hosting, has made her an excellent Property Manager.
