About Linda Culley
I grew up in this neighborhood and on this beach. It is truly a special place. I love having guests who can enjoy the cottage and doing whatever possible to make your stay comfortable. I am recently retired from a 42 year career in Public Administration and I am looking forward to managing Sinclair Beach Cottage as my main hobby!
Linda Culley purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Linda Culley chose Port Orchard
This home has been passed down through my family and I am keeping the tradition alive. I grew up in the house next door to the cottage and my grandmother and grandfather lived in the cottage while I was growing up. Then my sister lived in the cottage for about 30 years. I purchased the property in 2014 and renovated the cottage into a vacation rental.
What makes this Cottage unique
This property sits on one of the most pristine beaches in Kitsap County. It is low bank waterfront with direct access to the beach. The waterfront deck provides a 180 degree view of Sinclair Inlet, looking towards Port Orchard, Bremerton, Manette, Agate Pass, Bainbridge Island and Rich Passage. The ferries pass every 30 minutes. The beach is great for exploring for sea glass and sea shells and exploring sea life at low tide. There is a large lawn area, great for Croquet or Yard Darts (both provided). The water is great for kayaking and canoeing. (Please bring your own).

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Sinclair Beach Cottage in Port Orchard this week and had a delightful experience! The cottage is comfortable and the best equipped rental property we've ever stayed in. If there's something you need, from condiments to household supplies, Linda has furnished it. We found her notes left here and there to be most helpful. But the very BEST part of this little getaway is THE VIEW.....steps from the beach, one can spend all day drinking in the majesty of the Olympic Mountains and by night, the twinkling Bremerton city lights, all while enjoying ferry traffic in a most romantic way. We beachcombed for sea glass and came home with a bucket full. We returned feeling most refreshed and with a memory that will continue to provide warm fuzzies for years to come.
Quaint cottage in a beautiful location
If you look up 'quaint' in the dictionary, you will find a picture of this cottage. We had an awesome stay here at the Sinclair Beach Cottage. This property is very well stocked; just bring your consumables. It is in a fantastic location out of the hub-bub of Seattle, with a fantastic view of the Sinclair Inlet of Elliott Bay. Close to Port Orchard and not too far from Bainbridge. You will not regret the serenity of this property! We will be back, for sure!!
Nice cottage - with beautiful views!
We had a very nice two day visit. Loved walking on the beach gathering shells. Saw seals and two bald eagles!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage while awaiting the arrival of our third grandchild. The view of Sinclair Inlet is magnificent and.we enjoyed watching the ferries navigate the waterway while viewing the snow covered Olympic Mountains in the distance. The Cottage provided all that is needed to relax and enjoy the area. We hope the future will provide another opportunity to stay at the Cottage again.
A truly serendipitous experience! Heaven is a little closer in a home by the water:)
A beautiful property on the banks of Puget Sound, well placed to watch the vast variety of wildlife and ferries going to and fro. Stunning photograph opportunities with the Olympic Mountains as a backdrop. The cottage is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing during our stay.
Great waterfront home. Good location to explore Kitsap Peninsula.
Linda put a lot of thought into making her home comfortable and equipped for her guests. She had notes throughout the house with instructions for anything you may have a question about how to operate. She was very honest about the water pressure being low, but we were able to have a nice shower if no water was running elsewhere in the house. Wonderful, wonderful outdoor areas, both lawn and beachfront. We enjoyed the beautiful flowers in the garden, but couldn't take our eyes off the boats and birds, and occasional seals that played in the water outside our windows. If you enjoy nothing else, sit on the back porch and watch the sunset over the Olympic Mountains and the water of Sinclair Inlet. It is definitely a home I would enjoy staying in if ever in the Seattle area again.
