Picture-perfect home... thoughtfully-renovated for a relaxing island escape. Well loved by repeat guests who come again and again, this in-town home has only 3 weeks open in summer 2019. The quiet in-town neighborhood is a leisurely stroll from downtown Vineyard Haven and all it offers. Leave the car in the driveway and walk to town for a cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner or to catch the bus.
Inside, the first floor offers a spacious living room with fireplace, game table and cable TV. The dining room opens into a new kitchen gleaming with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. For easy outdoor eating, the kitchen opens onto a private and nicely landscaped, bluestone patio with table/chairs/umbrella and gas BBQ grill. Around the corner is an enclosed outdoor shower for a quick rinse-off after a sand-filled day at the beach.
Hardwood floors run throughout the house, including upstairs. Sleeping arrangements include three bedrooms and full bath/shower on the second floor. On the main floor is a fourth bedroom with adjacent bathroom and ample-sized shower... great for Grandma and Grandpa or guests who may need quiet space.
Central air conditioning. WI-FI throughout. Nearby is the public library with an ample children's section for indoor entertainment on a rainy day or a book for bedtime. For sports-minded travelers, Mink Meadow Golf Course is up the road, and the VH Yacht Club is a few blocks away. Beautiful Farm Neck Country Club, which offers public play in the afternoon, is about 6 miles away. Downtown Vineyard Haven offers car, bike and moped rentals and access to the Island-wide on/off bus system.
Martha's Vineyard awaits your visit. You'll feel right at home the minute you arrive. (This is a Saturday-to-Saturday weekly rental.)
Beginning 1/01/2019, a new lodging tax applies to vacation rentals in MA.
