We had a very relaxing stay at Mike & Marqy's Portsmouth vrbo. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog & include him in many of the activities around town. The home was very comfortable and conveniently located near many restaurants & a grocery store. Mike was a great host- we enjoyed our vacation and all Portsmouth and surrounding towns had to offer!

The home was wonderfully comfortable with a beautiful view from the living room of the gorgeous cove. It is roomy and lovely. The only negative is low doorways and ceilings upstairs if you are over 6’2”. The owners sent a great detailed email about things to do and places to see as well as having a basket of brochures, maps and a guide book. It was so helpful! And Portsmouth is a great place to be if you want to explore southern RI or even go to Cape Cod (which we did for a day trip!)

The very reasonable price for this rental had us thinking we may be in for a tough stay but nothing was farther from the experience we had. The house was clean and everything that was advertised. Great View, well equipped and very cozy. This was not a fancy unit, but that was what we wanted with a two year old bouncing around. We were there during the No'oreaster and everything held, no leaks or power outages or any issues. And even though it was pet friendly, it had no pet stains odors or lingering hair.Mike was an incredible host and accommodated every issue we dealt with in getting ready to attend a very swanky wedding. Even though we dealt with rain for three of the four days there we had a great stay.

Our host, Mike was unbelievable! We arrived late, he had left the key in the door for easy access and had pizza & pop waiting! In addition, a large basket of goodies and water were available. This home was immaculate and cozy with very comfortable beds and furniture. There were air conditioners upstairs and downstairs as well as fans available everywhere. The view outside the front window took our breath away! The location was perfect and within 20-30 minutes of our planned activities in Newport. The adorable backyard was an oasis. We used it whenever possible. My 2 Sisters and I would highly recommend this vrbo. Just be aware there are some pretty steep stairs to go up & down especially if you have to get up at night. They posed no problems for us.

House and yard/deck were great! Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable with my pup. The large picture window provided a fabulous view of the bay and we enjoyed watching the many birds. The location was convenient for visiting Newport and the other sites we wanted to visit. Would definitely recommend!

The house was very clean and accurately described in the listing. We appreciated that all the bedding and towels were included and of high quality. We thought the location was perfect for exploring the greater Rhode Island area. Not far from central Newport and easy travels to Providence and outlying areas. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Amazing location and stay!

The cottage was perfect! It was so clean, spacious, and equipped with everything that you could need. The water view was amazing, large deck and inside areas, and to have parking, priceless!
