Bedrooms 2
Space 1,200 sq. ft.
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 7 nights

About the property

2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, spacious living area, on the intercostal

This 1st floor, 2 BD, 2 BA condo is situated right on the beautiful intercostal waterway. The porch features magnificent views of the yachts and boats of all sizes cruising up and down the waterway along with the coastal birds feeding in the marsh near by. I have owned this condo for 3 years (2011) and never rented it out until now (Nov 2014). The unit has all new furnishings, carpets, wood floors, and freshly painted. It also features wi-fi, 3 flat screen TV's (with a 48 inch in the living room). The master bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and a separate double vanity area with an entry way that takes you into the private shower and bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds with its own bath located just outside the door. The complex features 3 swimming pools, one of which is heated. There are tennis courts and a fishing pier where you can cast your line into the crystal blue Florida waters. The condo is located 8 miles south of the historical St. Augustine, the oldest city in the country. St. Augustine has a wide variety of shops and restaurants sure to please every taste. There are also a number of historical sites nearby including the Castillo De San Marcos National Monument, featuring a 17th century Spanish fort. After you tour the fort, you can relax on a horse carriage or trolley tour through beautiful St. Augustine. The world renowned Florida beaches are only a 10 minute ride from the condo and for the sports enthusiast, the Golf Hall of Fames is a short 30 minute drive away. The best of Florida is at your fingertips in the greater St Augustine area!

About Alice Phillips-Oakley

I reside in Cedar Key Fl, the 2nd oldest city in Florida! I own and operate a bed and breakfast called Cedar Key Bed and Breakfast in Cedar Key. My husband and I moved down from Connecticut in January 2003 to purchase the Cedar Key Bed and Breakfast and when he passed away in 2010, I decided to purchase a place in St Augustine to retire there someday knowing how beautiful the city of st. Augustine is with all it's history.

God is so good as I have just remarried and have now decided to share my beautiful condo with others who can enjoy the peace and tranquility I have enjoyed over the past 3 years.

Alice Phillips-Oakley purchased this condo in 2011

Why Alice Phillips-Oakley chose Florida North East

I choose this property because of the beautiful natural grounds with all the trees lining the roads into the complex. It is quiet, peaceful and so close to anything you might be in the mood for.

When I walked into this condo to look at it, and saw the magnificent view of the marsh and inter coastal waterway, I knew I was home.

What makes this condo unique

The view, tranquility, sunrises, spaciousness of the condo, location, layout of the condo, the back porch where you can sit with your early morning coffee and enjoyed the rising of the sun and the stillness of the morning.

My wife and I were totally unprepared for the beauty, cleanliness, decor, furnishings...everything that this condo had to offer us. We stayed a week (3/26/17 - 4/2/17), but would have loved to have just moved in on a permanent basis; or, at least stayed another couple of weeks had we the time, it was that lovely! The views from the back screened-in porch were absolutely the most peaceful and relaxing either one of us has ever experienced on a vacation. We enjoyed our coffee each morning out on the porch, watching the sun rise; then, with a glass of wine in the evenings, watching the tides come and go. This place even included binoculars so you can watch the magnificent wildlife that visits the shores and marsh along the inner coastal waterway, which is the back yard of this place. We can't say enough about it honestly...and the owner Alice is just a jewel. She was extremely informative; concerned that we found everything in order and enjoyed our stay by calling us a week after our return home. The community in which this condo is located is quiet, well maintained and situated close to everything one would need for an enjoyable "get away" experience. The residents, of which are mostly retired folks were courteous and very friendly. We were made to feel right at home, even though they knew we were just vacationers! We will definitely return to this gem of a vacation rental in the future.

Absolutely Beautiful!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place!!! The vista was stunning. We enjoyed the morning sunshine, watching the different wildlife and boats go by each day. The condo was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It had everything you to need to make your stay perfect! Working with the host was terrific. She was very quick to respond to any questions you might have. We found the entire complex inviting and really enjoyed using one of the three pools at the end of an active day. We would highly recommend this place!!

This place is a gem!

We arrived on Dec.26, 2016 and spent a week at this beautiful condo. We were thrilled with this rental!

It was immaculate and looked just like the photos on the website. It was near everything but, away from

the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Augustine, as we needed to relax and have a quiet place to

unwind in the evenings.

We fully enjoyed our week at this rental property. Thank you to the owners!

Close to everything!

  • 5 of 5

I rented this condo for a week. It looks just like the photos. It's clean as a whistle, well kept, and feels like home. It's close to everything, you can drive to the beaches, go downtown, or even hit the grocery store in 7 minutes or less. The beaches are gorgeous. The downtown area is stunning and the condo complex has private pools if you want to stay in. Tons of shops and restaurants in historic downtown. There really is a lot to do for a couple or entire family. I spoke with Alice on the phone when I booked my stay, she is so sweet and also owns Cedar Key Bed and Breakfast on the opposite coast. Great experience, I would rent again. Thank you Alice for the great experience, and I looked up your B&B online, I'm going there next it looks beautiful!!

Don't hesitate or think twice! Just do it!!

  • 5 of 5

We have rented several properties from so called "professionals" (realty agents) over the years and have had some issue almost every time… This year we rented from VRBO and had an awesome experience, with no surprises! Our hostess was available to answer any questions, and the place was exactly what we wanted. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a very nice, relaxing atmosphere, with a great view. It was clean and comfortable beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this for an older family, as it is a quiet retirement community. St. Augustine is a beautiful city rich in history with several beaches nearby. Everything, including beaches and great restaurants, are just a short drive away. We would not hesitate to return to this property! Too bad we can only give it 5 stars…

Wonderful Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

We rented the condo with another couple for 8 days. The condo is exactly like the pictures that are shown. It was very clean and we had everything that we needed for a quiet, relaxing stay. The view is very nice and there is a wonderful screened-in porch. We found some very nice places to eat and the owner had a book with information on local establishments. We would definitely stay here again.
