Black Bear is a 2-bedroom log cabin located in Gatlinburg (quick, easy access- only 5 minutes from downtown) with clubhouse and seasonal swimming pool access. Located in Black Bear Falls Resort, Black Bear sits in a gorgeous wooded setting with terrific mountain views. The cabin has two king size beds along with a queen size sofa sleeper which combined can sleep up to six guests. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The cabin also includes a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, and a hot tub on the deck. The level driveway will accommodate 2-3 cars and there is only 1 step to enter the cabin. Black Bear's location is convenient to Food City (grocery store), Arts and Craft Community, and Pigeon Forge (including easy access to the back roads for the peak seasons). This close location sets guests close to everything making Black Bear great for a romantic getaway or family vacation.

Please note Black Bear is a NON-SMOKING AND NO PET cabin, strictly enforced.

Smoky Mountains

We love how we could just go to the cabin without going to an agency for arrival. We had no problem with the entry. The cabin was very clean and neat. We loved the location. We will differently stay there if possible on our next trip.

Peaceful and comfortable

Roomy and relaxing for two couples. We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen was well supplied.

Family vacation

We wanted to stay away from all the tourist in Gatlinburg & be in a quiet location. This cabin was perfect! It was a short drive from everywhere we wanted to go. Wish we would have booked the cabin longer. We saw a black bear wondering around cabins by us. Made our stay perfect!

Amazing!

This was our first time out of Wisconsin for a family vacation. We had such a blast! The cabin was beyond amazing it worked perfect for our family of 5. The cabin was very clean and the location was perfect! We will definitely be returning! The only negative thing would be that we didn’t book to stay longer!

Cute rustic cabin in the hills :-)

We loved almost everything about the cabin ! There were 4 adults and we loved having 2 separate bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms :-) we also loved having the King size beds :-) The only thing that was not my favorite was the fact that the top floor bedroom/bathroom seemed to be more for kids...not necessarily the bedroom decor but the bathroom didn't have things for adults...like a hair dryer. The master bedroom seemed to be more equipped for adults. Otherwise, we had a great time and loved the amenities. It was also a great location from the places we wanted to go. Comfortable place to stay

Owner is extremely easy to communicate with and very accessible when questions arise. The house was pretty clean overall, but we noticed crumbs on the rug in the living room when we checked in. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and the house was centrally located to the national park and to downtown Gatlinburg.

Visiting Gatlinburg Convention Center

We enjoyed our stay at Black Bear Cabin. The cabin is a bit remote if you are visiting the Convention Center, but it is in a quiet area away from the crowds. AC works great if you are on the first floor, but difficult to cool the upstairs bedroom without overcooling the first floor. Towels need to be replaced. Would be convenient to have a few dishwasher pods available on check-in.

Family getaway

Great location. Cabin as pictured and very homey. We had a great trip and was nice to relax each evening away from the busyness. Hot tub was used daily!

Cozy dream cabin

Very clean, well-organized cabin! For the three of us it was spacious & cozy at the same time for family bonding. The view of the smoky mountains is breathtaking especially during sunrise in the back porch. It was a dream cabin with all the amenities we needed. Peggy the owner answered our questions promptly. Safe place to walk for our exercise in this little community of Black Bear lodge. So accessible to any routes to downtown with scenic drive. Coming from a flat landscape Houston I will definitely recommend this place to friends. Thank you Peggy❤️

Perfect location!

Property was just as described in the listing. Plenty of room for our family and we enjoyed how close the cabin was to all of the area attractions and Pigeon Forge. The hot tub was a fabulous perk to use after a long day of exploring and doing activities. 10/10 experience and would definitely stay here again.

Black Bear Falls Resort kept the natural beauty and added ponds and cascading waterfalls. While our kids have enjoyed swimming in the pool, one of their most favorite activities is feeding the fish and ducks. Our whole family enjoys walking around the community keeping track of all the wildlife we see.
