The description that we received is exactly what the property looked like and then some. The bear accents were remarkable. The setup was very comfortable. I would definitely use the cabin again. If you enjoy driving up hills this is definitely the place for you. One thing is I didn't see any live bears on this vacation which I was hoping to see from a distance. An unforgettable time was had.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in mid May, and will be back! Smoky Mountains NP was the main purpose for our visit, and this was a convenient location to the park and a quiet retreat away from the Gatlinburg crowds - but close enough to easily take advantage of restaurants, attractions, grocery stores etc. The cabin is clean, comfortable and well appointed, good views from the front, and a private feeling back porch looking over the woods. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub too!

Very clean, very cute for a romantic getaway! The mattress could be better, I did feel some springs but I slept okay anyways! Black bear themed decor, two bathrooms, one of the pool balls is chipped so that impacted our ability to use the pool table. Hot tub was awesome. We even saw a real Black Bear crossing the street as we were driving away! The drive can be a little scary in the dark so I would recommend arriving before sundown. Overall a great cabin for the price.

Honey Bear Hideaway is simply the best! You truly will not find anything better! From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted by the wonderful smell of a cozy log cabin. The entire place was spotless, modern, and absolutely beautiful. The layout and design, especially the loft, were just gorgeous!All of the adorable bear accents throughout the cabin really make you feel like you’re tucked away in the woods, surrounded by peace, quiet, and nature. We did venture out into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but honestly, some of our favorite moments were spent right there at the cabin. We were able to slow down, relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary together. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, cozy getaway, Honey Bear Hideaway is definitely the place to stay! We absolutely loved our time there and would stay again in a heartbeat!Word to the wise: Follow the directions provided by the host and DO NOT use your GPS! We learned that lesson the hard way and had quite the fun adventure taking a few wrong turns. But hey… it made for a good story!
