We loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved staying here. The location was great, felt private, balconies everywhere, the view is incredible & it was just the right size. I'll admit that the layout/floorplan was a bit different but that was one of the things that made it even more memorable. So many beds (literally enough for 10 plus someone on a cot if needed) At one point, we had the cot on the balcony so someone could take a nap outside with the sound of the Merced River flowing in the background. Totally recommend.

Location location

Great 3 bedroom cabin outside the hustle and bustle of Yosemite. Nice river view from the back porch great for relaxing Everything was clean as expected and everything was included to make our stay hospitable. Wish there was bath soap and coffee but otherwise had everything. We used this as our base camp for visiting Yosemite which was about a 30-40 commute through mountainous roads. Overall for our preferences I could not imagine a better place to stay for visiting Yosemite I would highly recommend. Cheers.

Cozy, comfortable, content

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful few days we just spent at this river front cabin. Spring of 2017 has been very good to Yosemite. The river is stunning and very full and fast. The cabin has picture windows that look directly over the river. Be assured the few items that have been mentioned in previous reviews have all been rectified. The master bedroom closet was available for our use, the kitchen is fully stocked with essential items and there were plenty of clean, fresh towels for our use. No tv reception, but come on people, you're in Yosemite! You shouldn't be watching tv anyway. The little kitchen made meal planning and executing quite the adventure, but certainly doable. The big dining table was perfect for meals and card playing. We are already planning our next trip for Spring of 2018.

Great location and great little house. Only issue is we keep forgetting to bring paper towels and toilet paper. Small little store within walking distance to buy supplies we forgot to bring.

Excellent location

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was well equipped with most everything you'd need except for a hairdryer (so ladies, come prepared). The location is fantastic, with the river right below. Enjoyed the swinging bridge loop hike which can be started and ended from cabin without moving your car. The decks were lovely in mid day but on our April trip is was too chilly to enjoy during the early evening hours. Must be lovely in the summer months. Owner John was very responsive with getting back to me within minutes/hour of me emailing him with questions. Only wish would be that the spa would have been slightly hotter.
