We had an absolutely wonderful time and the cabin was set in a little piece of paradise. Plenty of room for 7 adults, 4 teens, and 4 kids. The beds all were very comfortable. Everything there you could possible need. We'd sit on the porch and feel as if we were a million miles from everything yet civilization was easily accessible.
Beautiful place...not properly maintained
We loved the views, the porch, the fire pit and the hot tub. Lower floor was unusable because of very musty dampness. Air conditioning not working main floor and grill was not working. We originally had 16 people coming..one family could not come at the last minute. Not sure what we would have done if everyone was there.very poor internet reception was frustrating because we could not make important connections or find local information. We did have a good time in spite of the issues mentioned. Feel like we were given less than we paid for. Makes us unsure if we will use VRBO again
The drive up the narrow road and the natural surroundings are enchanting. The house was beautiful. Plenty of living and dining space and enough bedrooms for our large group. We were able to arrange our sleeping so some were more tucked away who wanted quiet. We loved the porch with the rockers, swing and hammock even though it was a bit chilly.
Our only complaint was we never could get any outside lighting on which would have been good as we unloaded in the dark. I called the owner and he called right back and we tried to figure out the lighting but had no luck. He tried to be very helpful and I appreciated him returning my call. The kids complained about limited WiFi.
Loved everything about the house and property and hope to stay again.
Pros & cons
-Secluded enough to feel private close enough to town for fun
-the porch area included swings & hot tub that we all really enjoyed
-Lazy susan on the kitchen table was helpful in serving large group meals all week.
-Unfortunately we could not all connect to the internet. Our trip was in part a work retreat and we needed to all be on the internet at once. Since there was poor phone service, no internet connection made it hard to communicate via phone or laptop. In this day & age this was a pretty big hindrance for us.
-House amenities were not included (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, dishwashing detergent). That is fine, I just wish that would have been made a little bit more clear.
Overall very positive review and we would stay here again!
Enjoyed our return visit.
For two years in a row, our group of mothers and daughters (14 people in all) has enjoyed a weekend getaway to the cabin. It's a perfect setting for a large group and the girls absolutely love it! Photos can't do the early morning sunrise and mountain views justice. Owner is very helpful and easy to reach. Highly recommend!

House is located at high elevation so snow does occur during winter months...the driveway will be plowed when snow depth exceeds 4". We still recommend 4X4 and/or chains during snow months.
