This property was immaculate! Excellent view of Seattle. Close to everything. The waterfront, Space Needle , Stadiums, Pike Market, Chihuly, Museums etc, The property is in Queen Anne a very busy community with all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. Great seafood,,we love Seattle,,we'll be back in February!!
We absolutely loved everything about this house!! We traveled with 3 couples for a birthday celebration. Many of us had never been to Seattle before. This house was perfect! The pictures shown of the panoramic view of the Space Needle do not do it justice...the view was truly amazing and much closer than we thought. We couldn't get enough of it and even our Seattle friends that stopped by to visit were impressed and wanted to take pictures with the view as if they were the tourist! The house had plenty of space and enough separation for each of the couples to have privacy when wanted. The kitchen, dining room, and living area was open and accommodated all of us perfectly when we wanted to be together. Everything was stocked which made it nice for us to prepare meals rather than going out for food. The beds were so comfortable that a few of us made notes of the mattress brand so that they could also have the same comfort when they returned home. This house was perfectly located nestled in a very quiet area but walking distance from all of the great places downtown. I have to say though if you aren't in shape the walk back from downtown is challenging because you are walking uphill most of the way. The exercise was worth it! We were lucky enough to have 80° weather and clear skies for the whole weekend and we took advantage of that. We did have a rental car but barely used it except going to the grocery store on the first day. If I have to find some negatives they would be that the hot water didn't seem to last for six people to shower back to back. The water was cold by the time the third person got in. Also, it would've been nice to have a house manual to explain how some of the lights functioned and how to operate all of the nozzles in the master shower as well as general information. However, these negatives were not enough to not give this property five stars! The property manager was responsive when we had questions and we were able to figure out everything else. If I'm ever traveling to Seattle again I will definitely stay at this property, I didn't want to leave in the first place!
This property provided everything needed for our family to enjoy a few days in Seattle. It is conveniently located to shops, groceries, and restaurants, and was just a short and inexpensive uber ride if we were unable to make the walk; there was no need for a car rental, which would have been more cumbersome dealing with parking on the narrow and hilly street, anyway (driveway looked too steep to attempt to park).
Although the majority of our lunches and dinners were out, we did prepare one fantastic meal of fresh grilled salmon at the house and all the seasonings and oils were available to us in the well appointed kitchen.
The master bedroom/sitting area was wonderful with a spectacular view of the Space Needle and especially stunning at night. The other two sleeping areas were fine, as well, with the lower being it's own full suite with kitchen, etc. More space than what we needed for our family of four, but our young adult children appreciated the extra space.
Would definitely recommend this VRBO.
We rented the house for a business trip and it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen is absolutely loaded with all of the best equipment, the beds were comfortable and the home was clean and spacious. We worked in the dining room and had 3 of us stay at the house. The bedroom in the basement is actually an apartment that holds the 3rd bedroom and a bathroom and separate kitchen, living room and desk area. The house was unmarked and hard to find-- we had to find a neighbor to confirm it. Had a problem with the lock but the handyman came the next day to fix it and replace a bunch of lightbulbs. Main downside is there was no manual for the home, and no person that ever called us back. It was all through text and notes left at the house. It is it's not within walking distance of any restaurants and the driveway and garage are very difficult to get into because it's on a very angled slope, and there was on way for us to get our rental car into the garage for fear of never getting it out again. So in future would park on street when the construction is done. I would definitely stay there again. great for multiple families who want private space and a big common area. Gorgeous views of the space needle too!
