This home is a perfect spot to create great memories!
Keith and I enjoy sitting on the deck and watching the sunset. We've been married 30 years and are high school sweethearts. We met in a rock band and still play in our church praise band together.
We hope you have a wonderful stay and please let us know if there is something we can provide to make it even better. And if you think that the squirrel night light on the deck is cute, tell me because Keith hates it. Ha!
Sharon Sloan purchased this cabin in 2013
We purchased this cabin in 2013 and are excited to share it with others! As a kid my family would visit Colorado every summer and to be able to own a very tiny piece of Colorado is a dream come true. The previous owner was an artist who built it for his wife. Some of the quirky outdoor decorations were left by him. I love the bears on the pole!
We very much enjoyed our weekend at the Sunset Serenity cabin. My absolute favorite part was the deck! The view, fresh air, and sunshine on my face made each morning super enjoyable. The location is smack-dab in between Cripple
Creek and Divide's main street, not too far from the attractions of Manitou and Colorado Springs.
The cabin is very cute and the various statues make it charming. We had 2 adults in the upstairs bed(room) who slept well and were quite comfortable. 2 adults in the basement had a tougher time sleeping, as the bed was not quite as comfortable. The living rooms are very comfy and having Directv was a plus!
I would recommend this cabin as awesome for families traveling with children. There are foosball, movies, and a small playhouse to enjoy. The basement is chilly, but space heaters are provided.
I loved how stocked the kitchen was, we made a few breakfasts and had more than enough utensils to cook. It was nice that the host stocks condiments, in case you forget them!
My only opportunity for improvement would be sweeping and moping the basement floor. The rest of the place was very clean, especially the bathrooms, which is much appreciated!
Thank you for a great stay!
It was very peaceful and give us the rest from the city. Breathtaking views. Lots of room. It was stocked with everything you need. Bring you cloths and food then sit back on the porch and enjoy.
Very good..we bought a 20 inch fan for our bedroom because it was so quiet! We left it there. Views and sunsets were spectacular. Loved it, very comfortable.
Me, my husband, and 5 kids ranging from 18 months to 11 years had a great time on our summer 2016 vacation. This cabin was the perfect place to unwind after a day of visiting the many awesome attractions around the area. The big kids liked to hang out in the basement area and the deck was a huge hit for mom and dad. I personally loved the view of the mountains each morning and evening and that is what truly made the whole Colorado experience. We would definitely stay here again. Our contact person, Sharon, was great as well. She answered all our questions in a timely manner. Only downfall is internet service is limited.
Took my wife and two kids (3 and 5 months). My oldest loved having her own area downstairs to watch tv and play. She kept saying I want to watch movie in the stairs :). There is a million dollar view from the deck. The cabin has all the amenities you need, including any cooking utensils or spices, or condiments you could need as well. This was our home base for day trips to Colo springs, the royal gorge, and pikes peak! We will be back. Management was great!! Coming from a Texan the weather was one of the best parts.
Beautiful views as discribed. House was just perfect for or family vacation. Contact person very attentive and nice. Will be staying if we go to Colorado again!!
Located within 30 minutes of Colorado Springs and very near many of the great attractions in southern Colorado
