Living in a beach community is unique and exciting I own a few rentals and mange even more so I have my finger on the pulse of the vacation rental industry in Port Aransas.

After retiring from teaching, I chose to sell my single family house and buy this property where I live in one unit and rent out the other 3. It is a sound structure with good bones and I have made it a popular rental in Port Aransas near the beach.

What makes this condo unique

My guests and i enjoy visiting in the outdoor area. In the front, we have adirondak chairs with nice cushions. Each covered patio in the back has a table and chairs. On the very back patio is bbq pit, a hammock and 2 picnic tables.

Great spot with everything we needed.

We had a great visit on Memorial Day weekend! Check in was easy and the unit offered everything we needed for a relaxing stay with a baby and pup!

Great stay but fenced area not what I expected

The stay was enjoyable and just as described. We were hoping to walk to the beach but it's a cul dec sac without a path through so the walk was too long while carrying beach stuff. It lacked some basics like Kleenex that would have been helpful. My dog couldn't use the shared fenced area because the other dogs (owners dogs) in the complex would constantly bark and distract her. That was disappointing as I was hoping she could use the fenced area for potty breaks. One huge upside was that there was a washer & dryer. Overall, it was wonderful to have a place to stay with my dog. It is clearly a dog haven and my dog was very welcome and the check in process was fantastic. Overall it was a very good stay.

loved the inside and close to beach.

The pictures of the yard were so good! We wanted this place for the yard for our dog, but the property manager's 3 dogs made us leary of letting our dog out much. One seemed aggressive and barked and ran at our dog whenever he saw us.

Great location but lots of dog poop and hidden pet fee

The condo was mostly clean, a few dead bugs on the ground but its Texas. Front yard had a lot of dog poop, we mostly avoided it. Location is nice, very very close to the beach. Neighbors were all quiet and friendly.

Read the rental agreement carefully because there is an extra pet fee that you will need to pay when you arrive that isn't shown in the rental details while booking. This only applies if you're bringing pets. It wasn't a great experience getting contacted by the owner and asked to provide yet more money after I'd paid for the rental.
