The Disney Hotel fills your view from the house.

Listen closely and you can hear Thunder Mountain from the property.

Disney fireworks on display from the porch - kick back on the adirondack chairs, relax and enjoy the spectacular view.

This home is perfect for your Disneyland vacation. You can walk to Downtown Disney where you can board the monorail which can transport you right into the park. Don't hassle with parking or loading everyone up in the car. If you are going to Disney, why not FEEL like you are right there.

Here is why you book this vacation rental. After a long flight or a long drive, you pull into the spacious driveway not having to worry about parking and not hassling with checking in. You just get your stuff and go inside. There are 4 bedrooms to choose from. Easy to decide. One side is painted pink and blue and has video games and princess dresses and 2 hideout bunk beds which sleep 6. OK kids, you can sleep there. Moving on, the other side of the house is tastefully appointed and has 3 bedrooms with 2 queen and 1 king bed. Adults claim this side of the house. Kids go away. In the middle, common ground amongst the kids and the adults, there is a kitchen, and a dining room table, and a spacious sofa with a queen sleeper (for the teens and tweens, who really don't want to be with the adults or the kids, and who can blame them), and a 60' TV.

So after choosing your rooms you naturally head outside to enjoy the perfect So Cal weather. The Disney Hotel is your horizon. You can hear the screams coming from Thunder Mountain. Tomorrow, bright and early, I will be there. I cannot wait. This is why we came. This is why I am alive. In the meantime, you play golf in the backyard. The kids are fighting over the Wii gaming system and the girls have locked the boys out of their room. Little do they realize the boys are not trying to get into their room, but that is beside the point. From the front yard you see your destiny, your mecca - Disneyland. You lazily sit on an adirondack chair from the porch, and begin to doze from the long day. A bottle of California wine by your side. The smell of the California Native plants in the yard penetrate your nostrils. Then at 9:15 you hear a pop, then a boom. The fireworks begin. You round up the troops and corral them to the porch. We are now one with Disney. Even your teenager comes to join the crew, if only for a brief moment, and the little ones' eyes light up. Tomorrow will be our day. Tomorrow we will be our Disney day. An anticipation like no other. When you are this close to Disney, and all of your senses are aroused, you feel alive. I cannot tell you how much I felt this as I got this house ready. When you can see Disneyland and when you can hear Disneyland, and you know that you will soon be there, you cannot underestimate the anticipation. If you want the luxury, and the proximity, and the convenience, then this is the perfect place for you. I cannot stress how much went into the thinking and the planning of this home. It took me over a year to find such a great property. The proximity is perfect. The setting is unprecedented. The amenities and the furnishings are carefully chosen. I want you to enjoy this home. I want this to be something that you remember forever. It is the perfect setting, and the perfect home, for you to enjoy the Ultimate Disney Experience.

I have 2 other listings so you can be confident that you are dealing with an experienced VRBO'er. Please see my ratings.

2) #446831 in Huntington Beach. The perfect beach house right next to Main Street and of course, the beach. If you want to do a little surf and turf ask me about combining a Disney home and the beach house.

About Robert Yagar

I was born and raised here in Southern California. My parents used to take us kids to Disneyland and I remember it being the greatest event ever. It was hard to sleep the night before. We would go early in the morning and stay until the park closed to maximize our tickets. When the park opened we would ride all the 'good' rides first because the lines were shorter. As the day wore on we would have lunch. My mom used to pack us lunch to save money. Then we would go on more rides up until the park closed. In the last few hours the crowds would thin out again and we would try to hit all the rides that had long lines during the day. It was always a marathon day, but I still remember vividly bits and pieces of those special moments. Disneyland and the beach - those are the two things that were always the most fun growing up here in Southern California. And they still are today.

Robert Yagar purchased this house in 2014

Why Robert Yagar chose Anaheim

It took me a year before I finally found this property. It is so close to Disney that the Disneyland Hotel fills up your view. When I saw that the fireworks could be seen from every part of this corner lot home, I knew this would make a great home to bring families together and enjoy the magic. It is just spectacular.

What makes this house unique

This house is within walking distance of Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. It is on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood. You can see and faintly hear Disneyland from the property. You have a perfect view of the fireworks at night. Sit on the porch and enjoy the show.

Great House!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great house. We rented this house for our wedding guest from out of town. It was a great house that entertained our guests with the putting green in the backyard. This was a hit. Our group enjoyed the open floor plan. All in all a great house.

Very good vacation home

  • 5 of 5

The house was very comfortable and was very close to Disneyland. The kitchen was well equipped and we saved a great deal cooking breakfast, lunches and some dinners. The grandchildren had a lot of fun with the putting green in the backyard. It is probably close enough for those in good shape to walk to Disneyland but the kids would be worn out by walking. Would definitely recommend this and would book it again should we return.

The house is not the way it was on HomeAway.

  • 3 of 5

All of the children's area is outta date. Also the AC does not work properly on that whole side of the house so if you do go bring a couple of fans. The linens and towels were not clean and had a horrible smell and the washer also smelled very mildewy. I contacted the owner about all of those things and he said they have been common concerns in the past and I shouldn't complain because I got a roof over my head working sewage and electricity. Oh and one more thing the home owners wife showed up unannounced and let herself onto the property without even knocking on the front door very creepy and uncomforting. So make sure to keep an eye and your little ones if you let them in the backyard because at any given time they feel it is their right to enter unannounced.

Owner's Response: I thought I would share some of the texts that this guest sent to me: "We showed up at the house everything is beautiful and exactly as we expected." Also: "Thank you again for having us in your home I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends." I found it unusual to receive a text at 10:23PM because the guest was upset that Disney cancelled the fireworks show and because of that she was demanding half of her money back. One of the cool features about the home is that you have a front row seat to the Disney fireworks from the porch, which is great if one of your family members cannot navigate the park. They can experience the park from the porch. Anyway, a cancelled fireworks show is out of my control. I manage three homes on HomeAway and have not had any issues or complaints about laundry, cleanliness of the house, air conditioning or the children's play area. The washer and dryer that were mentioned are high end appliances. I actually have the same set in my own home and I am quite pleased with them. I use a professional cleaning crew for all of my homes, and the entire cleaning fee that guests pay goes directly to the cleaners. In fact, the cleaning crew had to spend additional time cleaning the house after this guest because they left the house extremely dirty. I did not charge the guest an additional fee for the cleaner's extra time. Regarding my wife being on the property unannounced; I allowed the guest access to the property earlier than their official check-in time. It was before official check-in time that my wife went into the back yard only to replace a chair that was broken. She was there for less than ten minutes, and she never went inside the house. I did not charge the guest an additional fee for the early check-in. The guest made numerous false complaints about my home after their stay and continued to complain about Disney cancelling the fireworks show. The guest demanded half her money back. The guest threatened to give my home a negative review if I did not compensate her. True to character, this is what she did. As an experienced owner I have encountered all sorts of issues. Things can and do go wrong, and I do my best to make things right and that probably accounts for all the positive reviews that I have on all my properties. This review has nothing to do with the condition of the property. The guest wanted compensation for something that was completely out of my control, didn't get it, and this is her payback.

Great location

It was a very nice, clean house and perfectly located near the Disneyland Resorts and Downtown Disney. There was plenty of room for everyone. I would definitely stay here again.

Best place we've ever stayed!

  • 5 of 5

We will definitely stay here again! We have stayed at nearby hotels in the past, but with our large family, getting 2-3 rooms is expensive and splits us apart. We loved having a house to stay in that was large, comfortable, and less expensive than 2 hotel rooms would have been. It also helped promote quality family time since we were able to all eat together, relax in the living room after a long day, watch fireworks, and barbecue! The kids loved the mini golf!

The walk to Disney was a bit longer than we thought, so we drove one day to see if it would be faster. Driving actually took longer! By the time we parked in the lot, walked to the tram, got on the tram, etc., it took much longer, so we only did that one day.

Great place! I recommend to all! :)

Thanks so much, Robert!
