About Bryan

My name is Bryan and I have lived in Montana, in the Paradise Valley, for all of my adult life. When I am not exploring our property on Emigrant Creek with my faithful standard poodle and lovely wife, I am working in the Valley or Yellowstone National Park. I love this area and can give advice on where the best spots are.

Bryan purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Bryan chose Emigrant

My wife and I finished remodeling this cabin 2013. We thought it important to restore the logs on the inside for all to enjoy the rich history of the building. Here is where the hand work of generations past can be seen and appreciated.

What makes this cabin unique

The full length porch allows sitting and enjoying the cool breeze that always comes down the creek in the evenings. Our proximity to Chico Hot Springs is also a luxury with their fine dining and hot water spring pools for swimming.

It was the perfect cabin for our family of 6. I think the highlight of our trip to Yellowstone was the walk down the road by our cabin that led to our own waterfall. The cabin had a stream beside it and we would fall asleep each night listening to it. Brian was right there if we needed anything and the cabin was wonderful. We would definitely come back again.

Excellent choice for family time in a beautiful location!

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Emigrant property. We enjoyed the location - proximity to the river, Chico Hot Springs, long walks in the forest, and beautiful mountains. The house was very comfortable and it was a pleasure working with Bryan.

It was the perfect place for our family to experience the beauty and renewing air of Montana

  • 5 of 5

When we drove up to the property we were in awe of the beauty and fantastic setting. We enjoyed the rustic buildings and backdrops. The cabin was so clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our family of 5. This is a great location for exploring the beauty in the neighborhood and heading to Yellowstone. We definitely hope to be back and our kids ages 17, 14, and 7 would move here in a heartbeat if it wasn’t so far from our Wisconsin home and family.

Thank you Bryan for the wonderful hospitality and we hope to see you again!

Beautiful location: far from crowds but close to good food and natural beauty

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay in Emigrant! At first we were worried about the “commute” to Yellowstone — but that drive through Paradise Valley actually became one of our favorite parts of each day. The cabin was very comfortable, and our host struck the perfect balance of being personable and giving us space. We hope to come back someday!

Clean and quiet

  • 5 of 5

It was a great pleasure staying in this cabin. It was very spacious, clean, and quiet. The brook is approximately 8 feet behind the house and lovely to listen to if you open the windows in the living room or kitchen. We met Bryan and his wife and they were simply delightful people. I would use this cabin again. They had two other cabins on the same road of different sizes. We went in May so the weather was cool. There is a hot spring resort a couple miles down the road which you can buy a day pass to. It was not crowded in the middle of that week. There is a lovely walk up the stream. Yellowstone is about an hour away. In town is a little grocery store which is well stocked including fresh produce. The stay was very quiet.
