MY WIFE MARY AND I BOTH GREW UP NEAR THE BEACH BUT HAD LIVED IN DIFFERENT CITIES. AFTER MEETING WE ENDED UP LIVING IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY OF CALIFORNIA DUE TO OUR EMPLOYMENT. OUR GOAL WAS TO EVENTUALLY RETIRE AT THE BEACH. AN OPPORTUNITY CAME UP TO PURCHASE THIS CONDO AND WE TOOK THE PLUNGE. STILL WE ARE NOT RETIRED SO WE DECIDED TO SHARE OUR HOME WITH THOSE THAT ALSO LOVE THE BEACH. WE ALSO CONTINUE TO STAY THERE AS MUCH AS OUR TIME ALLOWS.

WE JUST LOVE LIVING ON THE BEACH. THERE IS SO MUCH ACTIVITY GOING ON. PEOPLE COME HERE FROM ALL OVER WORLD TO VACATION. MY WIFE LOVES TO SUNBATH ON THE DECK WHILE WATCHING ALL THE FUN HAPPENING IN FRONT OF HER. I ENJOY RIDING MY ATV ON THE BEACH, FISHING AND GOLFING. OUR GRAND CHILDREN ARE SHELL COLLECTORS.

What makes this condo unique

THIS IS A NEW LISTING AND MORE PHOTOS WILL BE ADDED AS I TAKE THEM. THE PHOTOS DON'T SHOW HOW BUSY THE BEACH CAN ACTUALLY BE. THEY WERE TAKEN EARLY IN THE MORNING BEFORE A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE OUT. THE CONDO IS ALSO VERY SOUND PROOF. WHEN THE DOORS ARE SHUT YOU CANNOT HEAR ANY SOUND FROM OUTSIDE OR FROM THE NEIGHBORS. MONDAY THRU THURSDAY ARE THE LEAST BUSY DAYS OF THE WEEK, UNTIL SUMMER.

Great Place, spacious common areas

We had a wonderful time at this condo! The parking was super easy and it was great to be right on the beach. The large living room allowed all of us to spend time together relaxing. We also did the Dune Buggies, a beach fire with s'mores, and our beach games just outside. The burger place nearby was pretty good too. The bustle of the beach entrance was barely noticeable inside but we didn't mind getting in on the action too. Gorgeous sunsets and lots of fun.

House on the beach getaway

This is a two story, two bedroom, one reading nook kind of a condo with a large living room and a large kitchen both with great views of the beach. My family stayed here for a week and we had almost everything we needed (may need to stock up on silverware and kitchen paper towels/toilet paper). It's close to Pismo and Avila beaches and if you're a fan of ATV rides - that's the place to go. Our mornings were mostly foggy and cold but warm enough for a morning walk or jog on the beach. The beach is very long and wide and walkers do have to share it with trucks (due to a RV camping place about a mile from there). But safety of our kids was never an issue and exploring the beach was never interrupted. We were concerned about the area being noisy as we had a 6 month old but the house is absolutely quiet and there aren't many people on our side of the street. We loved having been able just to walk outside onto a sandy hill and watch our kids play, do a bon fire and roast marshmallows but be steps away from the kitchen... Steve was always accessible via phone/text and was accommodating to our large family. He provided other necessities (sewing kit, a planner, restaurant options nearby, TV operation guidance, etc.) which was helpful. We will definitely consider coming back! Thank you Steve.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the nice review. We are happy you had a good vacation and you are welcome back anytime. We always try to improve our place for our guests. We will increase the paper towel and TP stock and remember to keep count of the silverware. We find a lot of silverware missing and we replace as needed. We left a whole roll of trash bags near the trash can (100 bags) and recently a guest took all of them, causing a problem for the next guest. Its not as easy to maintain a vacation rental as people would think. This month we had 4 blankets, 6 towels and trash bags missing. In general people are very good but one bad apple can ruin it for the rest. Steve

It was great to see the Ocen glisten through the large sliding glass doors

The condo was clean and comfortable for the 7 of us. Others staying at the condo were very friendly. We enjoyed our bonfires together. Did not expect to see so many cars, trucks, RV campers, tow trucks, & ATV 's. Lots of excitement on the beach. It just so happens that my grandson loves airplanes & not a few buzzed over the condo. very cool. Next time I will pick a beach that does not allow cars on the shore so that my grand kids can run and play and not worry about all the traffic & grandma can relax.

Great Stay!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to stay on the beach this condo is it. You can hear the ocean from the back bedroom. There are GREAT places to eat just a few miles from the condo. It was very relaxing. You walk out the back sliding door and step right out onto the beach, which you could walk for many miles on. If you want an ice cream it's right next door. Steven was really easy to deal with. Great guy! We can not wait to go back and we will be staying here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Holiday 2015

This condo is in a convenient location with amazing sunsets. It was nice to walk steps to the beach and have a bon fire. It is nicely furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked (dishwasher didn't work if that's important to you). I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. The owner is also very easy to work with.
