About Corinne

We purchased this property over 25 years ago, and brought in deep well-water and electricity. Each year we have made improvements to the cabin and property and it is has been our pride and joy ever since. We feel confident you will enjoy it as we do when we come to visit to relax and shut-down from our busy lives. In fact, we have made a conscious decision to not have TV, and have only recently added wifi.

Corinne purchased this cabin in 1987

Why Corinne chose Greenbank

This property offers much privacy and provides great access to the natural surroundings offered on Whidbey Island. Located centrally on the island in Greenbank, it is a short drive to Coupeville, Langley, and Freeland with great restaurants, shops, and access to fishing, boating, you name it. Located on the narrowest part of the island, the shoreline is an easy walk or quick drive where you can stroll the nearby beaches, or spend a day at the South Whidbey Island State Park.

What makes this cabin unique

Complete privacy ideal for a romantic get-a-way, or simply to relax and listen to the birds, feed the deer, and rest in peace and quiet. Writers' and photographers' paradise, with plenty of hiking available nearby.

Perfect Spot for a Quiet Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Property was in a lovely setting in the woods. Felt very private but had easy access to everything in the island. Accommodations were very comfortable and Corine, the owner, checked in often and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Especially loved the outdoor firepit and appreciated there was already some split wood available so I could enjoy it. The tiny and narrow spiral staircase to the bedroom might be a challenge for anybody who isn't steady on their feet or of "normal size" for getting up and down, so just be sure its not something that could be a limitation for the stay before booking.

6 Nights stay in your sweet cabin in the woods.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a delightful 6 nights and 7 days in your wonderful cabin. We live on Kauai, (The Garden Island) of Hawaii. Experiencing Whidbey Island for the first time and exploring the entire island was an amazing adventure full of beauty and tranquility. We were surprised to find that this island compared to Kauai is far more quiet with less tourists and no traffic what so ever.

We enjoyed the location in Greenbank, it is conveniently accessible to take day trips to each end of the island, as Greenbank is close to the middle point of the island.

We loved the Pot Belly Stove warming the cabin on the cooler evenings. We listened to the Owls at night and saw the Bald Eagles soaring above us in the day, the bunnies, deer, picking Blackberries, and seeing all the beautiful trees and wild flowers. Each morning we would get up to drink a cup of Whidbey Island Coffee and go out the door of the cabin for a peaceful nature walk. How lovely that was to walk without having to get in a car and drive.

Thank you so much for sharing your property with us. We highly recommend it.

Refreshing Getaway

  • 5 of 5

As soon as you start down the woodsy little road towards the circle of trees that surround this cute cabin, you start breathing more deeply and feeling refreshed and peaceful. The sound of birds circles you, and usually, deer come in to the clearing to graze and pose for photo ops! This place is clean, bright and has everything you really need to unwind and enjoy nature. And it is easy to get to the waterfront, good restaurants and interesting parks and quaint, funky towns. I love it there!
