Stand alone, single family, ground level home has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with PRIVATE POOL and "cool to the feet", Travertine tile patio surround. Large open floor plan allows for everyone to be in the same room and enjoy your time at the beach. Sun-room allows for some private time or can double as additional sleeping space with a full-size fold out sofa for extra guests. The polished terrazzo floors mean you don't have to worry about sand or dirt on the carpet!

The home is fully stocked with all dishes, cooking utensils, linens, beach chairs, beach toys and outside B-B-Q grill. The home is bright and open with plenty of windows to let in natural light. There is a spacious dining area with seating for 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge and ice-maker, smooth-top stove, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, K-cup & regular pot coffee maker, utensils, dishes, cutlery, crock-pot & more! Other amenities include in-unit washer & dryer, puzzles, games and book library, Flat screen TV with expanded cable in living room. Roku TV in Sunroom. All bedrooms feature flat-screen TVs with antennas. The home features Wi-Fi/High Speed Internet throughout the home, all linens & kitchen items included.

Just a short walk down 66th Street to the sugar, white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island. Located in a residential neighborhood with NO busy streets to cross make this home very desirable for those with children. Another plus is that there are no houses over single story looking down on you....privacy! The trolley stop is just across the street. Located mid-island, makes us close to historic Pine Avenue, shopping, churches and restaurants in the heart of Holmes Beach and a trolley ride away from Bradenton Beach & the #3 Rated beach in the World--Coquina Beach!

"Tickled Pink" cottage is just that....Tickled Pink to have you as guests to share the charm of this old-style Florida home.


Pets considered ONLY with 28 day minimum rental during months of October-April. Non-refundable pet fee. Pet MUST be listed on reservation.

Golf Cart Rental: There is no exterior charging available for electric golf carts. GAS GOLF CARTS must be used. NO Exceptions.

Pool heat is complementary between November 15 & April 15. Our pool and pool equipment are closely monitored for your safety, we kindly ask that the controls not be tampered with. Due to the island's strict 10pm noise ordinance, the pool heaters will not run overnight, we do our best to ensure that the pool is heated to a temperature of 82 degrees. However, please be aware that even in Florida we do occasionally get cold spells that can send the temperatures in 40's & 50's for a few nights in a row. This will cause the pool water temp to draw down to the 70's and the pool pump will shut down if the outside temp gets too cold. The pump will then kick back on in the morning and begin re-heating of the pool back to 82, which may take some time depending on air temps.

Please note that during Feb, Mar, June, July & Aug we request Saturday to Saturday rentals. Please contact us if you have alternate dates prior to a reservation request. We may also be able to accommodate your dates, based on other bookings.

Guests MUST complete & RETURN completed lease agreement. ANY LEASE NOT COMPLETED 1 WEEK PRIOR TO CHECK-IN WILL RESULT IN CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION & REFUND (minus administrative fee). All guests pay all fees associated with their stay. This includes taxes, cleaning, VRBO service charge and online payment fee. GUESTS HAVE NO ACCESS TO GARAGE.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was perfect. We loved cooling off in the pool after several hours on the beach. There is some traffic noise however it really wasn’t an issue. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Stay

We had a great time at this property (2 adults and 2 kids). It had everything we needed and the beach cart and chairs were especially helpful and made getting to the beach with everything we needed so easy. It was exactly as described and the central location made it easy to get anywhere on the island quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great beach vacation spot!

Loved our vacation here, super short walk to the beach (even for the kids), house was a great spot to hang out and swim in the pool to escape from the heat wave when we weren't at the beautiful beaches! Enjoyed our stay immensely, would definitely stay again...thanks!

Best family vacation!

The house is exactly as described. Super convenient to the beach and all restaurants. Highly recommend renting a gas powered golf cart for the week. We enjoyed our stay so much and if we head back to the island, we will definitely stay here.

AMI Family Getaway

House had all the amenities my family could need. Space to spread out, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, and a pool! I couldn't rate it 5 stars because of the location...its a corner lot on the main street, not included on the listing, and exact address is only provided after booking. We stayed over a holiday weekend and even though there is folage for privacy, there was constant traffic noise. Overall we enjoyed the island and will be back in the near future.

Cute and Clean

The home is very cute and so clean! My 3 and 4 year old girls loved all the pink! They called it the Barbie dream house because of all the pink. The home is very well appointed and equipped with absolutely everything you need for a perfect stay on AMI! The beach is a quick 3 blocks away and the back yard is very tropical with great landscaping and a new smaller pool. The pool was perfect for our girls learning to swim as it wasn’t too deep. There was road noise but we played music in the back yard when we were enjoying the pool and it made the road noise very reduced. All in all another great year on AMI!

Stressful Setting Does Not Equal Relaxing Vacation

We were very excited about visiting and vacationing on Anna Maria Island. Read all the posted reviews and thought Tickled Pink Cottage would be a relaxing setting to enjoy with our family. We have traveled all over the world and unfortunately we were disappointed. We wanted a nice vacation that was stress free and from the moment we arrived it built very quickly and was with us our entire stay. We admit we arrived 45 minutes early to a clean empty house and brought in our suitcases only to be confronted 15 minutes later by an angry owner’s husband who preceded to yell at us. After verbally chastising us we left only to be called immediately by the owner and told we needed to pay an additional $200 fee or forfeit our entire vacation. We paid the fee and returned at the proper time…not a minute early!! Okay, we made a mistake going into the house but the reaction by the owner was uncalled for…it could have been handled in a more civilized way on the owner’s part. So, not a good start…. Pros Easily walk to the beach AC worked great Nice Pool when clean Clean house, nice kitchen Cons So many rules – the refrigerator was covered with house rules, book with house rules, and Post-It notes throughout the house with more rules - even what brand of toilet paper and how to flush…. Dirty BBQ – notified owner – was told the previous tenant had no problem using it, but they never cleaned off the crusted on food and grease…we didn’t bother grilling like we had planned. Noise – although numerous notices about noise ordinance violations and the threat of fines, the house is next to a busy street with considerable traffic noise even late into the evening. We believe the noise level was well above the maximum daytime limit of 65 decibels and nighttime noise limit of 50 decibels that was spelled out in the house rules. In those rules the owner noted a whisper is 30 decibels. Bring your sound meter to make sure you abide by the rules. We were afraid to even sit in the backyard at night!! Pool – it very nice but the owner said it would be cleaned and that was never done throughout our stay (and we did notify the owner about the pool debris). Ceiling fan in living room – could not turn down the speed from max and the after notifying the owner the response was they would not fix it because of our early arrival. We made sure we followed all the rules and left the house per all the rules. We were "Tickled Pink" to finally go home!

Perfect little pink house

Cutest pink house exactly as described. Location is perfect! The house is stocked with EVERYTHING. Susan is a five star host. During our stay there was a bad storm that caused the ac to stop working. Susan came over right away and had it fixed immediately. She’s as lovely as her pink house and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Can’t wait to book this property again.

Home away from home

All the comforts of home with a beautiful patio and pool area and a short walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable and roomy living space for two couples with everything needed for a day at the beach. We loved the pool most of all and look forward to returning next year.

Beyond Perfect

We had a wonderful stay at this location. Everything matched exactly to the listing on VRBO. Perfect location and space for our family to walk to the beach and a short walk to a few of the restaurants in AMI. Susan is an excellent host and immediately addressed a small issue with one of the showers that we noticed on arrival. We also have family in Bradenton which made it easy for us to get together and enjoy all that AMI offers. We will be definitely be staying here again in the future.

Fantastic House

The house was perfect for a family of four. Plenty of room so we all had our space when we wanted it. We used the outdoor pool several times everyday. The location is a short walk to the beach and you don't have to cross busy roads. The owner is a pleasure to work with and we would definitely stay there again.

Tickled Pink with Tickled Pink

What an adorable cottage! Perfectly themed for Florida Beach. The house was exactly as pictured, and just right for my family of 4. The beach was 2 blocks down the street (exactly 0.25 by my fitbit) with no busy roads to cross. Beach was clean and not too crowded. The pool was a relished haven to return to after the beach. My kids floated and splashed for hours. All the beach things you could need were provided(the cart was a little rusty so we didn't take it out, but truly that was the only thing that wasn't perfect). The house itself was immaculately cleaned prior to our arrival. We felt comfortable, safe and at home. The kitchen had every pot and pan you would need, and a coffee pot that made the hottest cup of coffee I have ever had (and downright near perfect)! Location was great- quiet neighborhood, easy to get around. If you want a small piece of heaven in a great location, do not hesitate to rent this property. The owner was super easy to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Perfect Getaway at Tickled Pink

We had the best stay at Tickled Pink. The house was in a great location (short walk to the beach) and Susan (the owner) was super attentive and responsive if we had any questions. The house was clean, had everything we needed for our family of four. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a wagon are all provided which made packing even easier! We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Perfect location

The location for this home is absolutely perfect. We loved the proximity to the beach as well as its access to restaurants and other places such as grocery stores and shops. Why they chose this property

Small enough to manage the chores, but big enough for family and friends. Light and bright spaces and NO BUSY STREETS TO CROSS to get to the sugar white sands of the Gulf of Mexico.

Travertine patio surrounds my pool, which means no hot pavers under your feet when you are getting in or out of the pool! Private tropical backyard surrounds the pool...bananas fresh right off the trees!
