House was very nice including views and amenities. Owner communications was very good. Drive up the mountain not too bad, not far to towns for supplies or gas. Travellers should bring their own soap and shampoo, paper supplies and firewood, all available nearby.

Thank you for a great week in the mountains. Communication wa
This was our 3rd time staying at Over the Edge cabin, it never disappoints. The view of the mountains from this place is AMAZING! Cabin is just the right size, whether it's just a couple as it was for us or a larger group the den & kitchen area are very conducive to gathering while cooking and watching TV with a nice fire going in the real wood-burning fireplace (ALWAYS better than gas IMO!). And sitting in the hot tub on the deck with your favorite beverage while gazing at the stars above the mountain range... it's AMAZING!The hosts are always responsive and a pleasure to deal with. No doubt we will be back again (for our FOURTH time!).
Lovely cabin with stunning views. Fall colors were about 10 days from peak at the cabin.Beds were very comfortable. Sadly, while we were there, the house below us was using chainsaw until 7:30 pm two nights so it took away some peace and quiet. The cabin is very well laid out and well stocked kitchen.Bring your own shampoo and soap and Kleenex as these were not included. All in all, a great spot.
Absolutely looked our stay at Over the Edge. The craftsmanship and decorating of the cabin is outstanding, the views are great and we loved the pool and card tables downstairs. It was a 15 minute trip to Dillsboro and Sylva with Ilda’s restaurant as our favorite and 30 minutes to Bryson City. We recommend the Moonshine Tour on the Smoky Mountain Railroad. A 45 minute drive to some outstanding waterfalls and Highlands. Everything was fantastic!
This is very nice please for relaxation all day long in the cabin overlooking beautiful mountain ranges, and spectacular sunrises, or short drives to national Park and surrounding towns, plenty of things to do, whatever your heart desires.
This property was perfect for our family of four and grandparents who tagged along for our pre-Christmas getaway to the mountains. The property is centrally located between several local towns with an abundance of shopping and great food options. We loved our stay!
The cabin is exactly as pictured and described, if not better! The owners are very responsive and clearly want guests to enjoy their cabin as much as they do. Overall great stay!
Our stay was during New Years. We have stayed in several cabins over the years. OVER THE EDGE is a perfect name for this home as it is on the edge with exceptional views. We will certainly come again. :)

Awesome Cabin- Awesome view
We were very impressed by this large and very handsome cabin. The view was spectacular and the accommodations were plentiful. It was a bit dicey driving to the location the first time, but after that, all was well and we had a great time.
The cabin was just as described and was beautiful, and the view was incredible! It was definitely off the beaten path, which we love! We also enjoyed reading about the "labor of love" that brought the cabin to be! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was our honeymoon!
This is the second time our group has stayed at this property. As expected, it was clean and well-equipped. Our communication with the owners was excellent. A third stay here is in the cards
Over The Edge was absolutely perfect. The owners thought of everything. The log home is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We have stayed in several mountain properties over the years but this place was definitely the best.
We were truly amazed at the spectacular views. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have been more pleased. Anyone who does stay here will not be disappointed!
Our family has rented a cabin for Christmas many times and this one blew us away. It is spacious, clean, well stocked, and has beautiful views. Great layout, all the amenities, responsive and helpful hosts, and plenty of seating for everyone in the great room. Of all the cabins we’ve stayed in before, I can’t wait to return to this one.
This was our 2nd time staying at Over the Edge. Just as before we found the home to be as advertised, clean, and well appointed. There is no better place to soak in the INCREDIBLE view of the Great Smoky Mountains than sitting in the hot tub on the deck of Over the Edge - AWESOME!! We will be back!!
Over the Edge is an amazing property. The home itself is a beauty and the views are worth the trek up the mountain. We enjoyed having enough space for 6 without ever bumping into one another. The game room downstairs was a huge hit. The house was clean and well furnished. The hottub worked magic after days of mountain climbing. I would highly recommend this vacation home and truly hope to stay again.
