Beautiful cabin and views

  • 5 of 5

Over the Edge is a beautiful home with stunning views. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin is very clean, well furnished and stocked and beautifully crafted. Can't say enough about the view from the porch! From the cabin we drove to The Road to Nowhere which was a lot of fun, we went white water rafting, zip lining and mountain biking on the Tsali Trails. We enjoyed the hammocks and the fire pit as well as hiking to the top of the mountain. It is a very relaxing place and we look forward to a return visit.

Breathtaking

  • 5 of 5

Incredible cabin with breathtaking view. We had hard time leaving it to go to attractions. Everything you need and more. Very well maintained road to cabin. Loved the open floor plan with the abundant natural light from all the windows. We also enjoyed the game room downstairs plying pool and cards after sun went down. Thanks so much for sharing! Highly recommended!

Beautiful Views

  • 5 of 5

We came up to "Over The Edge Cabin" for the 4th of July week. It was the best vacation! The cabin was clean and the views were spectacular! I highly recommend staying at this beautiful cabin. It is very close to restraunts, ice cream shops, grocery stores, Bryson City, Cherokee and Dillsboro. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We hope to come back again!

Even better than the pictures

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing and impressive Cabin. Beautiful on the inside and out. The premise is exactly as described with a full kitchen upstairs and a wet bar downstairs. Impossible to find even the smallest fault with the cabin. And the view is unbelievable, you won't be able to stop taking pictures. Short drives to the park, Gaitlinburg, Cherokee, Bryson City. Just a word to the wise, the drive to the cabin was difficult without 4 wheel drive (even the little rain we had made the tires spin), we did not even attempt it at night, which means BRING FOOD. There are not many food options near by; this is truly a cabin in the woods.

A great place to get away from it all!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this beautiful home in May. My husband and I were looking for a place to escape our busy lives and get away from it all. We were also looking for a place where our adult children and grandchildren could join us for the Memorial Day weekend. We had 6 adults and 2 children. This house fit the bill. The description the owners posted were very accurate. The home was clean, well furnished, and provided an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay. We had the home for 8 days and never tired of it.

The view is spectacular. I just can't say enough about the view. The deck was amazing. Our family loved the fire pit and the hammocks. We had a blast just sitting around talking and gazing at the beautiful scenery the Smoky's provided. A couple of days it rained on us but there is also a covered porch so we were able to sit out and enjoy the sound of the rain and the view.

The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, etc. you would need to cook any meal. We loved getting up and cooking breakfast and eating on the deck. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and wash clothes for everyone.

We all have 4 wheel drive vehicles so the road was no big deal to us. It may appear steep to others but to get a view like we had you would have to travel up a steep road. We actually fit all 3 vehicles in the driveway.

We loved hiking up the hill to the top of the mountain. We drove into Bryson City to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and hiked several trails. The waterfalls were beautiful. Bryson City offered great restaurants for lunch and supper. We also drove over to the Highlands area and again, experienced great shopping, meals, and hiking adventures.

The owners were great to work with and took care of any situation that arose during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at "Over The Edge" log cabin.
