Starship Beach House With Panoramic Oceanfront Views On An Endless Beach

Perched on a dune above the beach, this artistically designed house has panoramic views that bring the ocean to you. The fully stocked kitchen opens into the spacious "great room" with a boveda ceiling, wrap around windows, and fireplace. The adjoining balcony is a perfect place for reading, cocktails, viewing the beach below and just hanging out. It's also an ideal spot for watching the osprey and pelicans flying. The bedroom on the entry level has a queen bed and an adjoining bath/shower. Downstairs is the "open" middle bedroom with two twin beds and opens directly out to an exterior deck. This open/twin bedroom is not a private room. Adjacent to the open/twin bedroom is the master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bath/shower with ocean views and a private patio space. Both bedrooms downstairs open to an expansive deck with a private stairway to the beach. Down the stairway to the beach is a palapa where you can spend the day by the beach, shaded from the sun and cooled by the ocean breeze. The house has a two car garage and a roof/stardeck ideal for night-sky-gazing. There is WiFi, a TV for streaming, and the DVD player in the great room.
The house is available for a minimun three nights stays.

All occupants of the Rental Property must adhere to the rules and regulations of the Las Conchas home owners Association
Pets must be kept off all household furniture. Evidence of violating this rule will result in an additional $100 cleaning fee.

Can’t say enough good things about the starship….I think what I love most are the decks. Close to the beach w shade, on the lower deck w full sun, on the middle deck w shade or sun depending on how you move your chair, or up on the roof sitting around the fire. Each has great seating and all have incredible views. Have stayed there x4 and each visit is better than the last.

We loved our stay at the Starship! This beautiful house was spotlessly clean, and fabulously equipped with very nice dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, and an abundance of spices. The beds were high quality with fine sheets and blankets. There were three levels of outdoor decks to enjoy the incredible ocean view. My favorite place to be, though, was the large palapa, just above the beach, where the ocean rose to the edge at high tide! The beach was uncrowded and perfect for daily walks! The one bit of caution I would give is there are lots of stairs for the mobility challenged. The hosts where very communicative and available for any issues that might arise. All-in-all, the Starship was an excellent place and we greatly enjoyed our stay! We'll be back!

The kitchen was fully loaded lots of organic items, I liked that. The rooms were clean enough not my clean. Considering the time between guests I think they did their best though. I was disappointed with no use of the tub as the tub was one of the main reason we picked this property.

When you corresponded with us about your stay there you wrote, "We had a great time, the house was clean." So we're confused now by your report that it wasn't clean enough for you. Also, we're sorry that you were disappointed about the tub. It is fully useable. If you had communicated with us about your difficulty using it we could have resolved that issue for you. Anyway, we hope that you enjoyed spending time under the palapa and hanging out on the balcony and the rooftop deck for sunsets. And how about that view!

We can't recommend this property enough - my spouse has stayed here 4 times and I've stayed here 3 times. It's a perfect location, a roomy, comfortable house with plenty of room and lovely amenities, and what feels like a private beach. Great communication with the owners, easy check-in -- we can't wait for our next visit!

March ‘25 trip

This is our 3rd stay at the Starship and as usual, it was perfect! My husband, two dogs and I spent 5 days there. The location is perfect, has direct access to the beach & the house is clean and well stocked. We love staying here and will definitely be back!

Relaxing get away

Celebrated Thanksgiving at the Starship. Proximity was close enough into town but felt much more relaxing without all the crowds. House was great with amazing views and patios galore.

Our dear friend Alan built the Starship Beach House in 1991 and infused it with a wonderful spirit, much like his own. The beach here is graced with gentle waves and is a great place for long walks and shelling, kayaking and swimming. It's a perfect spot to escape and relax at the beach.

Why they chose this property

This house has a beautiful beach setting, privacy, spectacular views, comfortable furnishings and is just ten minutes away from town (Puerto Penasco).

What makes this property unique

The decks of this house are magical. If your timing is right you can sit on the roof deck and watch the sun set at one end of the beach and the full moon rise on the other, with the Sea of Cortez in front of you. Down below, sitting under the palapa is THE perfect place to watch the waves, read, sip a beverage and enjoy the ocean.
Please note: This is a perfect place to enjoy the beach but the Las Conchas HOA prohibits renters bringing and/or using ATV's in the Las Conchas community.
