It was a great place for my two sons and myself to get away on vacation for a few days.I liked that it wasn’t far from the dune entrance, it was quiet and walking distance to town.Also, Diana and her husband were really nice and I enjoyed talking with them.I would stay here again.

Such a cute place to stay, host is very kind offered food suggestions in the area. Had a very relaxing and quiet weekend. We definitely recommend staying here and we can't wait to visit again!!

Location was wonderful, quiet neighborhood with friendly community. Owners are welcoming and friendly. The cottage is charming and quaint. We really enjoyed the space and walking distance many businesses.

Perfect A-Frame Cottage for a Relaxing Lake Michigan Weekend

We recently stayed at this A-frame cottage and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the evenings after exploring. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were high quality.Just a heads-up: you do need to bring your own bathing and beach towels, dish soap, hand soap, paper towel, and toilet paper, as those items are not provided.Communication with the host was excellent. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcomed. Check-in was easy, and we appreciated the helpful information about the area.The location was fantastic—close to many beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, the Mac Dune Rides, and other local attractions. We also loved having access to the outdoor pool, which was a great bonus for unwinding after a day out.Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay—peaceful, comfortable, and convenient. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a hassle-free and memorable vacation rental on Michigan’s West Side!

Very charming cabin located in the perfect spot. Very relaxing away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to explore on foot or by car.The Host was very informative on the main attractions in the area.We were able to take in so many sites and make so many memories. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Nice cottage close to everything

Cottage is clean and comfortable. Not far from silver lake and dunes. Bring your own towels, soap and paper products. Wifi would be a plus.

GREAT LOCATION.

We like to visit the dunes few times a year and this place was perfectly located few minutes from the dunes in the heart of the town area. Nice neighborhood and there's a pool in the beginning of the entrance of the road as an added activity to do.

Perfect location

Super clean little cottage, with plenty of space for the family. As a bonus we had access to a private community pool and playground for the neighborhood. We loved being walking distance to all the shops and food too.

Nice stay.

Very easy to acquire thru VRBO. Was walking distance to town we’re the shops and restaurants are. We had 2 trucks, SUV and a trailer and everything fit in the parking area. The stairs were steep to the upstairs. So I slept downstairs and let my 19-22 yo sleep upstairs. Diana was very friendly when I met her. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool. But we’re there to pretty much just go to the dunes. Comfortable stay.

Great place

Great place, well maintained, walking distance to the chicken shack! Great communication with owners, good price. Just dont forget to bring your own towels, soaps and toilet paper! Rented multiple times and plan to again!
