Dune Top Beach House with Views of Lake Michigan

A little more than an hour's drive from G.R. brings you to this dune-top beach house overlooking Lake Michigan. (The cottage is not on the lakefront) Have your meals out on the deck or inside the screened-in porch. Watch the variety of boats including the occasional barge navigating the lake in the distance. Lounge on the comfy couch with the cooling breeze coming from the sliders that span the front of the cottage. Take a 3- minute stroll down to the lake and sandy beach. Raft the lazy river near Stony Lake. Drive past the golf course and winery to Silver Lake and the dunes. Onward to Pentwater for some shopping or maybe a burger at the Brown Bear. In Heart there are some great biking trails. So much to see and do! Come on up and enjoy!!

Oh my goodness! What a lovely property and location! The beach is a short walk away, the deck provides lovely views of Lake Michigan. The property is well-equipped for cooking and enjoying friends and family. Super quiet! Will definitely be back!

Great Vacation!

The house was just as described and clean. The location was great with easy access to the beach that was not overcrowded. We got to meet Carol at check in and she was super nice and answered all of our questions. The screened in porch was excellent any time of day and the view of the lake was perfect. If we stay in the area again, it would be at this house. We loved our stay!

Wonderful little dune top cottage in a beautiful setting. The only thing I’d add would be ceiling fans throughout to help offset heat and humidity because there is no AC. Otherwise, it was perfect! Thank you for sharing your home with us

Million Dollar View

Great duneside summer cottage even with modern convienances like WIFI and TV it allowed all of my family to totally relax and enjoy the view. Would definately concider a future stay!

Perfect weekend getaway

We wanted a quick, early fall weekend sneak peek at the wonderful Lake Michigan horizon before winter, and boy did this deliver! We cozied up on the deck with good books, walked on the beach, and had some great meals at the Farmhouse down the street! Carol was a great host!
