The Bird Haus is a family owned and operated studio vacation rental cottage in Fredericksburg, TX, nestled a mile from the hustle and bustle of Main Street. It has been operating for over twenty years. The majority of our guests are couples looking to enjoy a cozy retreat.

Studio: A comfortable king bed with a sitting area and snack bar is the perfect place to tuck away after touring all that Fredericksburg has to offer.

Master Bath: Take the time to draw a bath in the large jacuzzi tub that has plenty of room for two. Bath and toiletries are supplied for a relaxing evening.

We pride ourselves on our ability to cater to our guests!

We've got free wi-fi and parking for your convenience and provide all the linens, bath items, and snacks to accommodate your stay. Please let us know if you're celebrating a special occasion!

The cottage was absolutely adorable! It eas clean, smelled nice and was very welcoming and cozy. The extra amenities like the bath bombs, snacks, drinks and treats were super thoughtful. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi tub very much and the memory foam bed was comfortable.

We stayed at The Bird Haus in Fredericksburg for the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect spot for enjoying Oktoberfest and hiking nearby. The home was spotless and cozy, with fresh linens, a relaxing jacuzzi tub, and so many cute little details that made it feel extra special. Check-in was easy, and the host was kind and responsive. We had such a relaxing stay and would definitely book The Bird Haus again next time we’re in Fredericksburg!

In the heart of Texas Hill Country, Fredericksburg is a small city with a unique German flavor in its quaint bakeries, Hauptstrasse (Main Street) boutiques and generations-old peach orchards. Weekenders from nearby San Antonio and Austin have long appreciated the charm of the city and we are located near all of the city's activities. The surrounding Texas Hill Country is home to lush vineyards, making up one of the country's largest viticultural areas. In addition to the plentiful agriculture, Fredericksburg is the home of The Enchanted Rock State Natural Area which boasts the largest pink granite monadnock in the United States. After a long day of shopping, wine tasting, or hiking guests enjoy the many local live music scenes the town has to offer.
