Bradley, a quiet, comfortable bed and nothing but Hill Country stillness around you, that is a hard combination to beat. Glad the property delivered exactly the kind of reset you were looking for. If you find yourself back this way, the area is something else in the spring when the wildflowers are up. We would love to have you again!

Wonderful place and perfect location in Fredricksburg. Would happily stay again.

David, Fredericksburg has a way of pulling people back, and it sounds like the property landed right in the middle of everything you wanted to get to. Glad it worked out that well for you. When you come back, if you have not already made it out to the vineyards along the west end of town, that is worth building a morning around. We would love to have you stay with us again.

Pinar, peaceful is exactly what we aim for out here in the Hill Country, and hearing that the property delivered that for you means a lot. A perfect ten is something we are proud of. When you make it back, come during wildflower season if you can, the landscape around the property does something special in spring that is worth the trip on its own!

Joel, glad the neighborhood felt like a fit alongside the property itself. That combination of the right house and the right surroundings makes all the difference, and it sounds like it delivered on both counts. When you come back, ask us about the best local spots within easy reach of the property. Hill Country has a way of pulling people back, and we will be ready for you when it does!

Weekend getaway

Great stay. Close to shops.
Stayed 2 nights in Feb 2023
Response from VrboOwner on Aug 25, 2026
Kristi, easy access to the shops is one of those things that quietly makes a whole trip smoother, and glad it landed that way for you. An 8 means there was a little something left on the table, so if anything comes to mind after the fact, send it our way. The Hill Country has a lot more to explore out here, and the property is a solid home base for doing it. Hope we get to host you again soon.

Great romantic getaway house

Loved staying here for our get away to drink some wine and explore Fredericksburg. It was in the perfect location. Close to everything and on a quiet street. They had everything you would possibly need. Would stay here again!

Laura, a wine trip to Fredericksburg is hard to beat, and it sounds like the house put you right in the middle of all of it without any of the noise. That balance, walkable to town but quiet when you got back, is something we work hard to get right at this property. Glad the place was stocked the way it should be. When you come back, the fall harvest season brings a whole different side of the Hill Country wine trail worth planning around.

Very cute and comfortable

The house was very cute and comfortable. The location just blocks away from shops and restaurants was very convenient but being on a quiet street was a plus. We especially enjoyed the private courtyard with the hot tub and fireplace.

Stacey, that courtyard with the hot tub and fireplace is genuinely one of our favorite spots on the property, and it sounds like it delivered exactly the kind of evening it was built for. Being tucked away on a quiet street while still having everything walkable is a combination that is hard to beat in the Hill Country, and we are glad it worked so well for your group. Next time you come back, ask us about the best time of year to catch that fireplace at its finest. We would love to have you again!

Michael, that hot tub on the private patio is one of our favorite things about the house too, and it sounds like it hit just right for your trip. The walk to Main Street is what makes that location so easy to love, shops and restaurants right there without ever needing your car. Really glad the bed was comfortable and everything felt clean and ready when you arrived. When you come back, ask us about the best time of year to catch the wildflowers in the area. Great weekend for two

We stayed in the Ava Suite. Perfect size for a couple, and well kept/clean. The hot tub and patio were a great amenities after walking around town and wine tasting. We will definitely check availability of this place next time!

Response from VrboOwner on Aug 25, 2026
Kyle, the hot tub after a full day of wine tasting is honestly one of the best ways to end a Hill Country evening, and it sounds like the Ava Suite delivered exactly that. A well-rested couple leaving happy is what we are here for. Next time you are back, ask around locally about the smaller boutique wineries just off the main corridor. They tend to be quieter and pour some real gems. We would love to have you back in that suite again!
