Mammoth Ski & Racquet Club #129, 1 Bdrm + Loft

This condo enjoys a view of the Sherwin Mountains and the pool area.

This one bedroom loft has a full kitchen. | Bed Arrangement: The master bedroom has a queen and a TV. The loft area has a queen and a set of bunk beds. The living room has a TV, VCR, DVD player, and a new sofa sleeper.

The kitchen has a new fridge and stove. Both bathrooms have hair dryers.
Maximum Occupancy: This unit accommodates 6 people. This is a NON SMOKING unit.

Complex Amenities: This condo is close to the pool, two spas, saunas, recreation room, and community barbecues. Coin operated washing machine and dryers are located on the premises.

You can walk or take a short drive to Canyon Lodge (apprx ½ a mile) or catch a free shuttle to Mammoth Village (apprx 1 mile) just down the street.

Towels and linens are supplied but extra towels for the pool/jacuzzi are not supplied. There is 1 blanket per bed, please bring extra blankets if you tend to get cold.
Internet is provided as a complimentary service and is not guaranteed. No discounts/refunds will be given for connectivity problems/failure.

Parking: 1 vehicle guaranteed. For 2nd vehicle, it is a first come first serve basis; please check in with office first.

On site management is accessible 24/7 and snow removal is performed as the snow falls for uninhibited access.

Great place for a ski trip

We had a great time at this rental for a ski weekend. Walking distance to Canyon, helpful office manager, and overall a cozy rental for 6 people. Exactly what we needed!

Good with some reservations

Good location- though a bit confusing to find the way to ski over to Canyon lifts, the upper hot tub was inexplicably cold on our last night, mattresses are crappy, stove only had 1-2 burners working, limited teaspoons, blender did not work, windows are single pane with some gaps with frame allowing a draft, and our unit started equipped with 1 bar of soap for 2 bathrooms, 1 packet of dishwasher detergent and 1 trash bag. After a call, and visit to the office, the supplies were provided and we still had a blast in the unit (which has a better TV than shown in the photos) and love the MSRC location and its sloping ceilings and awesome view. Management was sweet.

Electrical Issues

Property had significant electrical issues which resulted in multiple visits from the property staff. Heater did not work in the main bedroom and various electrical outlets throughout were not working. Staff was super friendly and helpful but required breaker replacement.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: sofa old and uncomfortable. Furniture and decoration from the 60's old and outdated. Electrical outlets not working. Had to look for outlets that had electricity, TV stopped working because electrical problem. Heater broken, coffee machine old and not work properly, pans and pots old and scratched. needs improvement and electrical must be updated.

Overall good place to stay. Nice view from the living room. Some small disappointments. 1. Carpets are bit dusty even if it looks clean. I was bit worried about that during the stay as I have dust allergy. 2. Too old TV. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay

Best location

The place served its purpose. We were there to snowboard/ski, & canyon lodge is right next door. It’s dated but everything is functioning well. Kitchen is well stocked, & there r plenty of pillows & sheets, although I can’t find a single pillow case. It’s a bit of a climb but I guess if you can ski, you can climb a few flights of stairs. Comparatively good value for your money. We will definitely rent this place again on our next Mammoth vacation.

Perfect place for a quick ski vacation to Mammoth

We had a great time and the Condo was sufficiently equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Front desk staff were helpful and the condo well cleaned. Condo was as described in the listing. Walking distance to the Ski resort lodge.
