The Location - Oasis is a modern apartment complex looking down over DÀlbora Marina and Port Stephens Harbour, and just 100 metres into town for cafes, restaurants, boutique shopping and only 350 metres to Nelson Bay Beach.

The Apartment - This fourth floor (sub penthouse) apartment has excellent water views across the harbour. With ducted air conditioning throughout, spacious open plan living with a flat screen TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker system, a dining area, a gourmet kitchen with a cook top, oven, microwave and dishwasher, serving plates/bowls, stemless wine glasses, and a gas BBQ on the balcony. Room for the extended family (or two families) with four bedrooms (king bed, two queen beds, and two single beds), main bathroom with bath and shower, ensuite, and an internal laundry with washer and dryer. Plus secure parking in a double lock up garage with lift access to the apartment.

Please note: this property is not pet friendly.

Pros: - Very spacious apartment - Well equipped kitchen - Secure parking - Spectacular views Cons: - Beds not being made up prior to arrival, I would expect this to be done for the price paid - Small doors to access balcony, photos give the impression that the entire living room opens on to main balcony. This is not the case and was very disappointing - Grotty carpet

Stunning apartment
I spent a weekend in this beautiful apartment with my daughter, a close girlfriend and her two daughters - all adults, no children. The location is great - it overlooks Nelson Bay and the marina, has two balconies, is within close walking distance to shops and restaurants and the apartment is very roomy - four bedrooms, two bathrooms including three toilets, a well-equipped kitchen, two secure parking places and is in a security building. Our main complaint was that although we had paid extra for sheets and towels, these were not in the apartment. It took four phone calls to get these delivered and they finally arrived at 8.30 p.m. As we had all driven a long way after working all day - from Sydney, Scone, Nambucca Heads and Port Macquarie - we found this very frustrating. We also felt that, although the bathrooms and kitchen were clean, the carpets were quite "grotty" and it appeared that they had not been vacuumed. However, putting these issues to one side, we would hire this apartment again, although we would stress to the agent that the sheets and towels would need to be available upon our arrival. Another issue that needs to be addressed is to label the myriad keys we were given, to make it easier to get into the apartment - sounds minor, but when one is tired after driving for several hours, it would save sorting through the keys to find which one opens which particular door.
