The sweet, shingled front exterior of The Diamond K suggests a charming oceanfront cottage, which it is! But it doesn’t tell the full story of this gorgeous, oceanfront beauty, with breathtaking Pacific views from the windows where the home extends and expands to the west. The soaring ceiling is scaled by the stacked-rock fireplace and lit by large transom windows, bathing the living room in light. A door leads to a deck that lets you enjoy the ocean below you, with panoramic views and ocean to the horizon in three directions. You’ll enjoy warmth from the gas fire and entertainment from the TV and comfy seating in the living room as you enjoy the ocean view. Great stay in quiet neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Located between the towns of Lincoln City and Depoe Bay the location makes it easy to check out places along the coast.

Awesome ocean views from a cozy, beautiful home

We had such a wonderful time in this home. We had a ladies weekend and enjoyed the stunning ocean views and the cozy home. There were seven of us and plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the views and play games around the table. We would definitely come back here.

Great location and home was very comfortable. Only issue was door code was not accurate for check in and neighbor property had extra vehicles in our rental parking. Call to properly manager quickly resolved the issues. Would stay again

The bed in the master was horrible. The mattress is shot!. The furniture is general was not comfortable and the carpets were creepy dirty. So I would hope I don't have to stay here again. Check in was seamless. The location is awesome.

Family weekend

Carpet in master bedroom bathroom smelled horrible and nasty. Needs to be cleaned. Walls have lots of patching and not painted. Furniture and house layout worked great. Nice neighborhood and fantastic view.

Wonderful location; carpet needs work

This is a wonderful location. Great neighborhood that reminded us of Nantucket. The carpet needs to be replaced, or at least shampooed. Easy access to Lincoln City and Depoe Bay. There is a small grocery store about two miles South that has the basics. Would have been nice to have a couple of bikes to ride around the neighborhood. Also, directions on how to use the fireplace would have been nice. Finally figured it out.

Nice house, great location

Beautiful views and good beds. Well supplied. The only problem was that Vrbo (not Meredith Lodging) claimed on its website that the nightly rate included fees but not the taxes. So it looked like we could afford it. Until we booked it, non-refundable. Then we found this was not true at all. I don't object to any of the fees imposed by the host (Meredith), but we could not afford it. We went through with it because it was nonrefundable, but it cost WAY more than any of us had budgeted for this trip. Meredith Lodging was great to do business with. Vrbo, however, has lost our business forever. And yes, a review is coming to that effect.

Beautiful view, house needs work

Right on the beach, wonderful view of the ocean. However, windows looking out to ocean need replacing. There was no hot water when we arrived but the owner compensated for that and it was fixed while we were there. Little things next to be fixed....door to balcony, dishwasher (rack in bottom gets off track), and I think there is a leak around the refrigerator. We had a good time but for the price, I think some things should be repaired.

The beach itself was awesome, pretty hefty walk up and down but worth it. Not having an ac or any air, the house was pretty stuffy and stinky (pet smell). The pictures were stunning online, but it was not that way in person. The home is run down and it is clear that they don't put effort and time into maintenance. The windows facing the ocean are so dirty and have the salt film on them you can barely see out of them. They clearly knew, as someone has tried to scrape a way to see out. They need to be professionally cleaned. The other houses next door did not have this issue. The house was not cleaned very well, there was garbage in the closet and the pet stained carpet was a bit much. It doesn't cost much to get carpets cleaned regularly. There was dust and cob webs all over and dead bugs in the windows that should've been cleaned out. There were no balls for the foosball table. There was not enough bedding, the air mattress did not even try to stay inflated. It says sleeps 8, it slept 6 plus one on the couch. We've stayed in lots of homes like this (not this price point) and expected much better for the cost. I was extremely disappointed considering the cost and fees. Overall, I wouldn't book with this lodging group again.

Right on the beach!

Over all we enjoyed the property... More wear and tear on the property than the pictures shows, needs some TLC. One evening we were going to grill steaks, the grill did not work which didn't really surprise me give the condition it was in. The kitchen was well appointed, had everything we needed however not sure why the glasses all shad sand in them and needed to be washed before we could use them. Since we were going for the ocean, I don't think we could of found and better location. Laying in bed and hearing the surf is one of our favorite things.
