This is a wonderful location for a family vacation — plenty of room for extended family. The kitchen is well equipped, and golf carts are a must on the island; their two were great. We'd definitely come back to BHI and this house again.

This house was perfect. Such an easy and close walk to the beach. We never felt crowded and the house had plenty of amenities. Most of Katie was an amazing host. She was so responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay at BHI. The home was well appointed with modern, updated decor, a well stocked kitchen - not to mention it was directly across from the beach access. Would definitely stay here again!

Another perfect stay on BHI at Life on the Sea. Perfect location and accommodations. Had everything we needed for a fun long weekend. Edie was great to work with and so responsive to any/all questions. Favorite place to stay on BHI.

Awesome 1week stay at “Life on the Sea”!! A perfect fit for our family of 12 (grandparents, parents & kids) All was spotless and kitchen was well appointed (excellent appliances) to make cooking for our group very easy. Appreciated the beach chairs, beach carts & boogie board. (Even a life jacket for the youngest!). Would definitely stay there again!!!

Great home away from home!

This is a terrific property. Comfortable home and well stocked for cooking and grilling. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Easy access to beach right across the street. Golf carts for use a plus to explore the island and get to activities. Would recommend this home great for families!

Wonderful Stay

I rented this property for various family members coming to the island for the first time and could not be happier. The views from the lower and upper decks are spectacular and unimpeded. Inside the house you'll find it newly remodeled and well appointed. Every aspect of the house was top notch. The property owners were easy to work with and ensured our stay was very nice. I highly recommend this property for your Bald Head stay.

Awesome house!

We stayed here the week of July 29-August 5. We were a party of 10 - 6 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room for all and the perfect location on the island. Couldn't ask for anything more! Edie was a pleasure to work with and very attentive.

Loved our 2nd Year at Life on the Sea!

We are a group of 3 couples that have an annual trip to BHI each spring. We loved our 2nd year staying at this property. It is perfect for our group for many reasons - beach access, large deck, kitchen/bar, location to market & BHI Club, bedrooms with private baths, 2 golf carts. Edie and Katie are great - always check in on us and care that everything is in order. Plan to book again for next year!

Wonderful Home in BHI for a fun week!

Life on the Sea is a very comfortable home at BHI. Our multi-generational family had plenty of room to spread out and we loved the location. You can get anywhere on the island very easily. And the beach access is right across from the driveway which made it super convenient with two toddlers! The house is beautifully renovated with cozy furniture and a large kitchen where we enjoyed cooking. The property managers are wonderful to work with and even offered us an extra cart and early check in! Plenty of beach chairs for everyone and a large deck for relaxing and star gazing! We have stayed in many properties on the island and this was a favorite.
